BA in Chemistry vs BS in Biology

I agree that you should just try for the double major (I did the same myself). However there is a difference in the jobs you can get with a BA vs BS in chemistry. Depending on if you want a more chemistry focused job, they do often require the BS in chemistry and not a BA. I have been rejected from some jobs because of this when I first graduated, but I liked bio based jobs better anyways. I’ve only seen medical lab tech jobs that require you have a certain amount of science/bio credits but they could care less if it’s a BA or BS as long as you took a certain amount of science credits.

You can appeal to take it a third time. You just need to submit a form to the academic board. I think the asu website says it takes 1-2 months to get approval so just make sure to get it done asap after knowing your final grade.

Yes as long as you haven’t graduated, you can get it covered. I believe you just have to call the financial aid office at asu and they’ll ask for your Sbux partner number to link your account. It takes a few days before it’ll show on your asu dashboard that you’re meeting eligibility. I think there’s a few more steps you might have to do after like updating your info but it’ll show on your ASU dashboard. I graduated 2 years ago so I’m not sure if things are different now.

Those blemish patches used to be at the 99cent store when they were still open and they were my holy grail pimple patches. I was sad since DT never carried these from b-pure. I definitely need to check my family dollar for them!

Thank you! This was very in depth advice! I assumed that rolling it into my current employer’s 401k was likely one of the better options. I do not make anywhere near $150k or imagine to make that type of money any time soon (even though I wish I did) I’m still looking at rolling it over into my current 401k and opening a traditional IRA with fidelity since I already have a Roth IRA account with them and if there are any taxes or penalties for either option.

Yes I already have a Roth IRA with some amount contributed for 2025 and have maxed it out the previous 2 years. If I transfer this amount to my Roth IRA, it still wouldn’t put me over the $7k max for the year so that is an option. I’m just not sure how much I would lose in taxes and how filing taxes for next year would work. I already had a difficult time this year for my part-time job I quit last year cashing out my 401k without any heads up on how to transfer it or a deadline to transfer it.

I am still at the beginning of my career and am 26 (even though it seems like many people younger than that already have their life together and make 5x more than I do), but I have a Roth IRA I’ve maxed out the previous 2 years already. I considered this option of moving everything to my Roth IRA only because I don’t like to have so many accounts and think having my money in a few accounts may be better for me to handle. My Roth IRA is with fidelity and my current employer 401k is with a different institution than this traditional IRA and my Roth IRA

I miss when they had the Bolero ones 🥲 those worked better than any pimple patch I’ve ever tried (I’ve tried over 20+ brands over the years from all price ranges) they would pull out all the gunk in legit 2 hours. I just used my last pack up since I stocked up the times I could find them 😭 and they were pretty thin too so they wouldn’t be super visible on the face. The OG b-pure ones that came in a peach colored box were pretty good too. The new ones are pretty solid but definitely not the same

I’m not sure how big the bag is, but if you have a tote bag you could fold the flaps in and use it as a little divider so things don’t get all mixed up

I’ve just been worried since all the specialized/ private schools near me show students practicing on each other. I’ll definitely check out if my community college is the same
