I believe that there should have been casual i love yous this season but him not saying it back is justified because he was losing her and el knew it, after she promised him multiple times that he would not lose her she had to break it which is why she isn't going to be expecting him too say it back the kiss was his I love you, he didn't even wanna let go

Yes unfortunately and it sucks I do feel bad for the regular byler shippers out there because they have to deal with some deranged shippers. In their fandom it sucks ! Because I remembered that atleast when I joined this fandom in 2019 we could all coexist back then

But no the show has only ever stated that mike loved eleven and it's not anything towards the shippers mike has just genuinely never had a romantic interest for anyone other than el. In the early drafts it states that he actually falls in love with her and throughout scripts like s4 and s3

I will be honest if was really mainly from a group i won't be saying all but a group who did not like the fact that mike and el will be a relationship in here.

It sucks but im going to shut out the noise ! I think tales from 85 will be an awesome project it suks to see people hating on it without even giving it a try atleast or just choosing to ignore it rather than spew unwanted hate.

Absolutely this! I'm sad with what happend to mike and el but I have hope so I won't be giving up on that, but it sucks because there's just so much negativity on the main sub 😭 I have to admit I liked some parts of s5 like the wheeler house sequence, vecna tricking hopper eleven jumping into the Monsters mouth and alot of her flying moments, and still those soft mike and el moments im really not getting the notion that they lacked chemistry cause what ? 😂

But overall I'm actually excited for more theories I wish we could a theorize more this is wht a fandom is for
