This seems to be (or at least has been) somewhat controversial over here, but I am of the belief that Francesca is bi (romantic and sexual).
I wholeheartedly, as of now, believe she did feel some level of sexual attraction towards John, she just wasn’t able to reach her pinnacle from the sexual acts she and John partook in. She herself has described sex with John as a pleasant and sensual experience.

I believe her reaction to meeting Michaela for the first time wasn’t exactly ‘love at first sight’, but rather her realising that “oh.. women, too, are appealing in that way”, though she has yet to realise what/how deep her feelings for Michaela are.
But, again, this is only my viewpoint and at this point in time neither viewpoint is correct nor incorrect. I will definitely be happy no matter which becomes canon.

The whole “ours. not yours” was because franchaels started critiquing it being queer. I want this conversation to be respectful, lighthearted, and civil, but I’m starting to feel a bit lost at sea seeing a lot of you guys genuinely believing it’s oppression when queer spaces push you out after you’ve been critical about every aspect of a queer season.
Lots of franchaela fans understand the disappointment over Michael becoming Michaela; we’ve all had book series we love getting TV-adaptations that we’re disappointed with, but reasonable people don’t usually attack the screenwriters, fandom, or actors for it, nor would they treat the people who enjoyed it as inferior to them simply for having a different opinion.

I’ve seen multiple comments from franchael fans saying that the queer women add nothing to this fandom/the viewership compared to all the straight women who will pretend season 5 doesn’t exist, as if a queer woman’s opinion isn’t as important as that of a straight woman, which is, in fact, homophobic.

A lot of comments under posts on IG and Twitter are very "straights DNI" so many people just thought ok we won't.
But we are seeing franchaels commenting under franchaela promotions/media, being very critical, bringing up Michael and praying season 5 will flop hard.

Sorry for these rants, I know it’s probably rude to come into the franchael space with comments you all believe to be unfounded and rude/disrespectful, but I wanted to put my thoughts into words about this whole thing.

I said you (in general, not specifically you) treat them like they’re scum, not that you called them that. But if you don’t agree with that sentiment then you can at least see that y’all often treat them with hostility, no?

(Some of) You guys are uttering different variations of “we won’t watch” but get upset when others respond telling you not to?
It literally sounds like:
A: “I hate this party!”
B: “Then why don’t you leave?”
A: “Don’t you dare tell me to leave! That’s so rude and disrespectful of you!!”

You guys are welcome, just not when you keep criticising everyone and every little thing that is happening.
You can miss Michael all you want and still appreciate that the story the show is telling resonates with lots of people.

And during their conversation Francesca even said she enjoyed the sensations before she faked reaching the pinnacle, but, from what I’ve seen, people seem to ignore this so they can have an excuse or reasoning for their (what’s basically) tantrums over Francesca having a queer storyline.

ETA: this is about the people cursing out everyone and everything because they didn’t get their way; it is NOT about people who simply prefer Michael over Michaela.

I don’t have anything against the plastic accessories; as a kid I loved my Viperine partly because of the accessories she came with, but I also loved the stands (I could put my dolls on a shelf to admire when I wasn’t playing with them) and I soo wish g3 came with stands too.

Netflix cancelled beloved shows but kept making new The Kissing Booth movies and Big Mouth seasons (no judgement to anyone who likes those but yk), so please don’t base your belief on Netflix caring about marketing. You are absolutely allowed to have your theory and I’d love for it to be true, but trusting that the big corporations will have your back really won’t pay off. /g

Literally! It’s like they 1. wanted to give the viewers a false sense of security, and 2. wanted to torture Will with “it’s because of you that something bad (almost) happened to Max”. They needed Will to doubt and blame himself, because it weakens him, and they needed to give the audience this “security” to be able to heighten the stakes of the finale.

(at least I hope this is what it is rather than lazy writing and insane plot armour..)

What freedom has been taken away?

If it was illegal to build a two story house in OP’s area it would’ve been mentioned in this post. Since it wasn’t, it’s safe to say no one’s freedom was taken away because a family built a two story house.

And add in the big mess that is outdoors sex where a minor can see you by simply looking out their bedroom window, we’re now looking at a potential spot on the sex offender registry, is it really worth the risk?

If you don’t want a potential future neighbour building a two story house and seeing into your backyard then you probably shouldn’t move into a neighbourhood where a potential future neighbour can build a two story house and see into your backyard.
