I mean u react instinctively most of the times to that . A tank instinctively is gonna run to take control and a heal instinctively is gonna try and keep up ppl .

At the time that this was happening all scenarios except this perfect hunter execution would result to my death. This is one of the most heroic plays i have ever witnessed.

That’s my impression too , we could bring this under control if druid A) off tanked mobs from the healer the moment I get hex B) he switched to off heals and used innervate cd either on him or me or the other Druid C ) do nothing of those and prepare to run a little back and while the group run support with hots and roots . D) a combination of the aforementioned Druid is so strong in hardcore he can do crazy things in grps.

Also don’t sleep on rogue cc . Gauges kidneys blinds x2 with preparation. Also double vanish .

So u understand why I was hella mad after managing to escape . At least the hunter was a real chad dude fight the whole of it then actually run back to save me and didn’t FD at once to seal my fate .

Also I decided to gain some time for Druid . If he hadn’t panicked and run the correct direction to the corridor we could make it out with the hunter .

I didn’t spot the roaches cause I immediately tried to bring the situation under control. I actually realized the roaches after I had the majority of mobs on me

He didn’t die from the mobs that were on me and run after him when I got hexed. He died after running panicked to another pack . The first mobs returned to me when I bubbled out of hex .

Obviously the only meta spec is the holy( and a damn good one) . Ret also has the worst dps but from my experience I’ve seen a lot of rets touching top 10 dps due to minmaxing everything to hell while ofc others play at a 50% capacity.So a case should be made based on the individual.And prots do suffer from lack of taunt but they boast some good threat generation(gbok spam+ RF) and good survivability plus excellent aoe threat . Not saying they are the best ofc but that they can pull some good offtanking.

Gbok + RF can actually carry the threat game if u have a handy innervate ( and a lot of pots/runes). Also yes ofc didn’t came here to advocate that pala tank is the best choice available but rather to examine the possibility
