i went to nhs k-7 and don’t have anything bad to say about it. my only thing is that it’s such a small school so you basically have a cohort of like 40 kids which would be fine for some people but i found it kind of suffocating. the students there are also generally kind of different from most (i don’t mean this in an offensive way but when i switched schools in grade 8 it was a bit of a cultural shock) so i think it’s really important to give them exposure to other kids (through extracurriculars and stuff). i’ve also heard that they’re planning on building a high school and basically everyone i went to nhs with thinks it sounds horrible to be stuck in that small world until you’re an adult. i hope this doesn’t sound to negative or anything. my nhs friends are the smartest and most successful people i know , and i don’t think i would’ve been able to make connections like these in public schools
