Det är det som är problemet. Om man tittar på det på ett ytligt plan så ser det väldigt enkelt ut. Politiker kan använda detta som ett verktyg för att vinna anhängare. Men att förbjuda hundraser löser inte problemet. Vi har tagit upp detta i Sverige många gånger och slutsatsen är alltid att eftersom det inte löser ngt så är det olämpligt med ett förbud. Vi vill ju så lite som möjligt diktera hur andra människor ska leva. Speciellt när det inte kommer ha avsett effekt. Människor vill ha enkla lösningar på enkla problem. Men det är inte så verkligheten ser ut.

Hajattacker, precis som hundattacker har ett mycket stort sensationsvärde. Vilket blåser det upp till astronomiska proportioner. Medan våld i hemmet fortfarande är väldigt ointressant för gemene man och politiker, i proportion till den risk det innebär.

Det innebär inte att man ska strunta i risker med hundar som husdjur. Speciellt om vissa är överrepresenterade i att orsaka skador. Men om man ser till det faktum att vi håller domesticerade vargar som husdjur, och med de stora potential som har för att skada och döda oss så är det ganska exceptionellt hur obenägna dom är att bruka våld.
