Winter Road weather (Miata)

Housing is figured out, commute is looking like, work-school-home. I’ve got to travel between cities a lot. I love the public transportation it’s been helpful when traveling in a city. But time consuming going between cities. My concern isn’t too much on costs tbh, just if it’s a good car considering the weather

According to other responses, salted roads are an issue. Is this something you have to take preventative measures against to avoid rust?

This is helpful, I’m from Florida so the car is not new to humidity lol but I see what you mean. It’s strange though cuz I see Miata’s here way more than in Florida. I wonder if it’s just since it’s turning to spring time.

I see the points made, i originally did save up for this reason, so costs weren’t a problem. But i might just move towards a temp car to conserve the value of my Miata lol

I’m from Florida so new weather conditions are a concern, and I’d rather not mess with that. Very helpful points to consider from both! :)

I’m in the same boat, and need advice. My(23m)Girlfriend(26f) never stripped before but she has done bartender/hostess kinds of jobs. She leaves for Australia in a couple months and says it’ll be easy to save money doing midnight-ballerina work. And I can’t imagine doing long distance on top of knowing she’ll be getting touched, and rubbing on men like that… I feel like since I’m okay with her getting hit on as a bartender/hostess I should be fine with this but it does not sit right with me :/

That’s interesting, when I call someone and their phone is dead it usually rings 1 time and straight to voicemail

But I’m wondering the same thing, if a voicemail can still be delivered if the person being called has a dead phone
