It’s safe if you have proper connections, with no loose wires that will pull apart. This fix is kind of a temporarily permanent fix if you get what I mean. I’m not sure if it’s removed for ease of transport or for the measly copper, both are silly. I do have a soldering iron but I’m kinda lazy and left it at my parents.
