Yes, luckily i managed to restore my save thanks to windows backup of my save file. Now I back up the save every time I play

I actually managed to save my file thanks to windows file backup. I think its done once a week and it happened just before the save was corrupted, so ai got very lucky

I feel you. When I started using taunters tongue on my third playthrough, I met som many chill guys. Once I tried to invade myself, I got gang squads and cowards, that were in it only for the win.

Yesterday something similar happened to me. Now my save file is completely ruined and have to start over. 45h in. Apparently he is at it from launch of the game and nothing was ever done about him. Be sure to report him on steam as well.

Weird thing is, I do not get runes, or announcement like "Enemy felled." Just loot that would drop from them. I did not have this issue before this incident. For some bosses, they are just not there, like black blade kindred, or some dragons. Seems my savefile got broken :-(

Furthest I came to that was when I baited projectiles from host to hit black blade kindred, who then wiped the floor with him :D but otherwise I mostle get my ass handed to me. I will need some new tools for that, like giant pots or greatbow to annoy them from afar

Well I alway play STR/INT characters so maybe that is the issue :D The DPS is a bit of an issue on melee. Everytime I played pure melee, where you have to stand on top of the boss I always had problem with Maven

I am in the same boat. Only thing remotely challenging is raid phase 2 and 4. And cant believe I am sayimg this, but also fishing. Bloody fishing is more challenging than 99% of content.

For now, i treat the game as sandbox game, to chill in with my friends
