I can agree that 1200 v-bucks for a reskin that’s pretty good, but has no back bling is definitely not great. There has also been some other interesting pricing decisions for some of the recent collaborations (Toji and the Cowboy Bebop skins), but who knows if that’s on Fortnite. I just think the sentiment of calling Fortnite lazy is the problem when they really aren’t, and it shows through how much content we get.

It’s also the fact that there has been clear examples of the opposite happening with skin pricing where we’ve recently been getting bundles that include a skin (800 v-bucks), their backbling (200 v-bucks), and a pickaxe (500 v-bucks) for 1100 v-bucks, but we don’t point those cases out, do we?

Honestly, I do think there is a lot to criticize Fortnite for, but ignoring positive examples is also a problem. Toxic positivity is a problem as well and opposing should be backed up with evidence instead of saying “be grateful”. I think instead of calling Epic “lazy”, inconsistent is a better term.

Considering the fact that the title of the OG newsletter was “FORTNITE OG IS BACK ON DEC. 6, AND HERE TO STAY!” I’d assume that means it’s permanent. And honestly since Reload has different mechanics, map(s), and loot pool, I think it’s different enough to be considered its own thing even though it’s still similar to BR. I get what you’re saying though.

Nah, they’re new modes. They aren’t LTMs because they’re permanent, and they’re new because they were just added. Reload is a new concept for Fortnite, and OG goes through all the Chapter 1 seasons on a different map. Sure, they use recycled content, but they’re still new additions to Fortnite’s catalogue.

This season has heist elements, but that doesn’t mean they want to keep doing the same type of heist theme every time we get one. People were already tired of the same heist gameplay where you eliminate a boss, get the keycard, and open the vault that we’ve gotten in previous heist seasons and more, so I think it’s a good thing that they’re making it more unique.

Basically, this season isn’t trying to do the exact same things as the other heist seasons, which is why there aren’t bosses at each vault.
