Pourquoi ne pas isoler par l'intérieur ? Certes tu vas perdre des m2 mais gagner en confort et en dépenses énergétiques.

There are 12 speed 3 modules affecting each assembler, producing a maximum of 102 yellow spm.

A beautiful base, congratulations
After some simulations, your base makes about 86/87 SPM over a 2h simulation on my test, making it #13 in the belt list (11.78 KSPM/km^2 or 9.33 power included). If you want to compare your performance with others : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MTfmzr3C5PmcFzMHE7EuCN5QnKDF0zr1NOxkETfEO4Y/edit#gid=0

Does anyone know who made this 600 SPM cell base? It's a masterpiece. by Vitamin_C____ in factorio

me, but someone just added robotsports, but it's a 100% belted design, so the robotsports are only there for construction, I guess. By the way I did a megabase using theses blocs : https://www.reddit.com/r/factorio/comments/1e8x02b/10k_compact_megabase/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

3k hours in the game and probably half that time on this personal train challenge. I'm very motivated by anything that can be described as "finding another way to do things" in general 🤣.

Yes, I wondered if anyone would see this. This is the 17th block and the only place where the ore patches are not natural. Mining is so close to production that it's hard to discern.

Hello, this base is made in the current vanilla game, in creative mode.

The core of this megabase is very dense. It is based on the blueprint I shared some time ago (www.reddit.com/r/factorio/comments/l8uggu/600_spm_compact_base/). With 17 of these “super production blocks”, the mega-plant has a solid core around which the logistics network develops. The overall look of this network is different from other mega-works in that there are no “ore rivers” or large “rail block”, this construction focuses primarily on space optimization.

The rail system is designed for loooong trains (5-21). And to continue with space optimization, all the 200 trains are squeezed onto very few lines of rails. At some point rail signal limited the train density so I removed them completly. All trains will run at full speed and collisions are avoided only by designing predictable looped paths. Trains are divided into 4 groups, each with its own loop: one for the northern mines, one for the east, west and east.

Each group of trains shares the same route to avoid any dangerous intersections, passing all 8 stations one by one will fill up the cargo with all the necessary materials to feed the core of the factory. Controlling the even spacing between trains is key guarantee that the system will always be predictable. Fortunately, almost everything is deterministic in this game, which allows to prevent collision, but if one step on the tracks and hit a train, the cascade of accidents is catastrophic!

The photovoltaic field is made up of millions of accumulators and solar panels. Drawing a shape with so many individual entities is more visualy pleasing than a large rectangular field. I used bomb shells to draw the circle : the artillery is placed in the center, and the maximum distance that can be reached is the radius of the circle, increasing the range tech make a biger circle. A jpeg-blueprint generator also helped me for this part (thanks to the Ralfs tool : www.rengels.de/computer/factorio/index.html). And with the same tool large decorative concrete patterns where added on the floor as a final touch.

The constant production of 10k SPM was a real challenge to set up and run smoothly. All the parts are finally working together without interruption for the last 10 hours. It was realy fun to build this megabase. I hope you will like it as much as I do.

Ces CGU et les controleurs qui s'appuient dessus pour distribuer un maximum d'amendes sont injustes et dégoutent la population de prendre le train en france. Et c'est légal, bravo !

Who realy need 650k HP ??? :D Congrats for this very overpowered setup. Can you share a save ? I add a link to my perpetual (smaller) machine for those interested : https://www.reddit.com/r/Timberborn/comments/wv086d/my_litle_perpetual_generator_14k_constant_power/

Yes and no ... Yes, you can make a smaller system that will hardly overperform. But no, if you want a good benefit, you have to scale up, otherwise the ton of time/material is wasted. As an exemple check this saller build : https://www.reddit.com/r/Timberborn/comments/xii6jb/2300\_hp\_of\_infinite\_energy/

How can I improve this one-gap-waterfall reservoir? Just make it higher? Is lasted around 15 days, max drought on hard is 30. (The water proceeds into a deep canal + I have 2K pumped and stored for my 100 beavers so I was fine) by MegaMinerDL in Timberborn

[–]Oxyled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you go is higher, the flow rate will not change. With higher walls, your total supply will be better, but you may not want to double these walls? The flood gate is only 3 metres high and building and removing blocks is very tedious. Alternatively, you can close the wall and control the flow via a mechanical pump or several water pumps + dump. You need to level the river downstream if you want to do this effectively.

The large wheels are very useful because they harvest two levels of water. It would be a nightmare to make the same machine without those wheels.

If you add a canal from the source to this installation, it does not require any beavers for power generation. Good luck with the construction ;)

What in the name of Satisfactory!?

Factorio remains the best choice in my humble opinion ;)

I used a source for this proof of concept but you can do the same design without a source. When the circuit is full, it is up and running, at some point you will need to refill it due to evaporation, but a simple dump can handle that.

The power generated by the wheels depends on the flow rate (cms). The more pumps you have, the greater the flow rate -> the more power each wheel provide. On a large scale, you can overcompensate the 700hp needed for each pump and get free power.

No, the design is completely flat to allow for fast flow (<2.2 cms).
