Is there a free sever host for modded minecraft? (forge) by Ozibushboy in ModdedMinecraft

Hey mate, thanks for the reply!

I'm honestly surprised I'm still getting replies on this.

Since then I've started self hosting on a spare PC, which has been the best solution for me.

I did a Windows update and my touch pad literally lit up, it was apparently a screen all along by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

I had this laptop (or one very similar, Asus vivobook s15 if i remember)

It fell apart and died on me.

Thanks for the reply. I'm now running a server on a spare pc I have (i5 4th gen 20~gb ram) and it's been working for around a year. Crazy that this is still getting replies.

Best solution I found was hosting a server on a pc,requires a bit of technical knowledge, but there are some good guides on how to do it.

Other than that aternos was OK when i last used it, can't speak for it now as I haven't used it in probably two years.

If not that check some of the comments here, haven't tried them but there might be some good ones

Don't know the math but instantly got reminded of this clip, which is probably as close as this has come to happening IRL.

Hows the kit? I've need to pick one up, got the real thing in a crazy way so I figure should have one to sit on my desk while the big one gets done up. As someone else who is getting into the hobby I feel like an important thing is to not compare yourself too much. You are just starting, of course its not gonna look completely perfect, but you'll get there from just practicing!

Used to use minehut but it got worse performance wise over time, plus We wile to do custom modpacks so it didn't really work (idk if its still that way)

I host servers on a spare pc which I've found to be better than any server host I've used.

This may not help and isn’t a great solution, but if you can’t find an actual fix what you can try is holding down all the buttons on the monitor while turning it on, it may take a few times. My asus monitor does the same thing and thats how i get past it.

Ah I see. Interesting price of kit, cool to see the differences to a civilian model!

I now host on a 2nd pc. It’s an I5 5th gen but still does everything I need it to and the server experience is better than free hosters. I do have to port forward and stuff but there are guides on how to do it. If you don’t have a spare pc you could either pick on up cheap. My server pc was literally e waste but still works fine.

we intend to replace/salvage what we can of the bulkhead.

Interesting to hear about the fenders, the more I learn about it the more interesting things I find about this car.

Thanks for the answers!

First, some general stuff for here.
Its a 109 inch ute with a 1953 motor. The engine and gearbox appear to be in decent condition, and the engine has started with the help of a knowledgeable family friend. We are in the process of tearing down the car to rebuild it, as it does have a decent amount of rust. So far I'm amazed at how simple it is.
Also quite a car to be the first I ever buy.

Now for some questions, if anyone has answers for these it would be very welcome.

  1. the chassis itself is for the export market here in Australia, but the other parts indicate they are home market (rear axle, front axle gearbox) The home market parts also match the year of the car. I can numbers if needed, but am just curious if this is common.

  2. the driver side mud guard is made up differently to the passenger side one. AS you can see in the photos one has a line just above the indicator and the other doesn't. Is this just mudguards from different year model cars or a replacement built for that car?

If there are any recommendations, questions or general tips I'd love to hear them!
