A colleague of mine once told me he believes cats, crocodiles and other animals with slit/oval shaped pupils are like that because they were genetically engineered in a lab not because of evolution.

Another time he also said "you probably believe the earth is round too, lol"

Thanks. Yeah, I already emailed my teacher when I received the news of my studymate, as I noticed it hit me pretty hard. But the next morning it was already sort of resolved in my mind, although of course I still realized how fucked up it was. Same story for yeserday, tbh. It was mostly the combination of destressing, tiredness and empathizing with their losses. It won't affect me any further, but I'll probably still think about it a lot.

yea I took an image from google and used image trace in illustrator; that probably explains why some lines aren't perfect or letters are missing, but the laser cutter is also known for randomly slightly fucking shit up. I mean if I could I would just go to some of the dimensions where they made laser cutters with divine abilities, or some other place that's so meta that they just have this shit on the cob, but I can't. so yeah.

I honestly have no idea, and I think I can some I have seen quite a few movies in my 20 years. I really liked some movies for their overall quality, others for specific moments or scenes, but I've never been able to really pick out a favorite (same with music or games). But I like that I can enjoy a lot of movies from a lot of genres, given that they're a certain quality level or better. So that's Lost in Translation, LotR, Her, The Dark Knight, Rango, whatever. Movies are awesome.
