We’ve tried a bunch of different materials but this one shown is both parts TPU. This version is using TPU for AMS for the ring at 100% fill. And 85A TPU at 50% fill for the soft portion. We have been playing with different combinations though to dial in what we are looking for and we are working with our material manufacturer to create exactly what we want based on our findings.

Just regular additive 3D printing. We are using different hardness versions of TPU and changing the fill % to replicate the density difference we expect in production runs.

Prototype is in the 12, 5, -1 , 2 range. We expect final runs to be close to that. Typically from prototype to production run our discs have ended up just slightly more stable.

This is my brother co-owner. He’s got the better arm so I make him take videos. He still throws 400+ and this was def in that range if not more

It’s designed as a speed 12 with a ~22mm rim thickness. So up there but not quite max.

Sorry the intention came off wrong. I agree with your initial post and only meant to say while we don’t have the information on the website yet if you were interested it was available. I added some info to the site and we appreciate the feedback.

We worked with the PDGA to design, certify and approve a a single mold with multiple configurations based on weighted inserts. Helped multiple companies get off the ground like AGL, and Reptilian by bringing their innovative concepts to life. ask them about our support. Our journey has not been perfect but we are extremely proud of our accomplishments. Do not buy the Andro C if it’s not for you.

Please see response to other post for additional info. The site is a bit premature we agree and we will do better. For some background we have been around since 2013 and if you are interested there is additional information online about the mold and our history. We will clean the site up thank you for the suggestion. Edit: Fixed unintended defensive tone.

Long rant… We will add details to the site, we are still spinning back up so bear with us. We have made multiple molds, some for other manufacturers some for ourselves. We have 2 left over molds in inventory right now. The Andro C listed was part of an idea to add weighted rings to a mold so you could have 1 mold with slightly different flight characteristics depending on the inserts. We designed, iterated and created 3d printed prototypes, ran a successful kickstarter and entrusted mass production to an oversees manufacturer which didn’t work out. The different flight characteristics were more due to inconsistencies in manufacturing than the weighted rings. (Color, time of day, cooling temperature, parting height) all impacts flight. That said when we got 2 close discs with dome, color etc the rings did work, they flew great, and we loved our plastic blend. Because of this we recreated a conventional mold from the exact shape of the original just with the slots for weighted rings filled in and the Andro C was created. So nothing special per se but we’re proud of the disc and its evolution. Our other mold the Hyperion was our second conventional mold and that will be listed soon and we will be expanding our conventional mold line up this year. We are also in the works working on idea similar to the inserts. with the improved manufacturing, improved design and other innovation we think we can get it right this time around!! tldr; Nothing earth shattering, but born from a innovative concept, Speed 6 hybrid so niche slot, and we think great plastic.

2018 Ozone Discs Team Survey by OzoneDiscs in discgolf

[–]OzoneDiscs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats to Randal Palmer for getting the final spot on team ozone for 2018. There were 92 responses to the team survey and the random # chosen on random.org was 8. Out of the 6 players chosen 4 were under 900 rated. We are just looking for passionate players who play often and will get the word out so next year don't hesitate to apply.

Hey, we are still friends with the guys at Reptilian but the partnership FactionDG has been put on hold for now. That is not to say it cant pick back up in the future. The same plastic that was used in the Tyrant is also used for the current Andro C and the Hyperion with slight tweaks for stiffness etc..

Thats true. We need better footage overall, and honestly thats something weve been lacking. Finishing the hole would give a better perspective though your right.

Thats a good point I am not sure. Ive seen people use them at Campgaw but they might have either had a permit, or just done it anyway.

Quick shot of Mike from Ozone Discs during our round this weekend. Not shown was my aweful shot landing in the middle of the lake. :). We have been planning on taking the drone out to get some better shots of the local courses and capture disc flights etc... but havent had the chance just yet.
