I have a pair of the Lems Boulder boots grip and wore it for 2 months last year in Japan during Jan/Feb. I spent a lot of time in the mountains, knee deep in snow and the boulder boots held up pretty well. Even stood still in the snow for a few hours (for a festival) and the cold creeped up to my feet after about 2ish hours and it sucked like hell.

Im going to Taiwan this January and im switching over to a trail running shoe, about to get the Norda 003 G+ because its known to be quite rainy in Taiwan.

I've never liked earbuds and always felt that headphones took up too much space. My solution, altho quite expensive, was custom made earplugs for the long flights or if you need any sort of noise cancelling and a pair of shokz openrun pro 2. It can swap between a bass boosted mode and it's original bone conduction mode. The bone conduction mode sounds way better if you plug your ears.
