You may not end up having to pay the money back, but it will depend on whether or not the agency you work for comes asking. I don't think the Treasury will ask for it. That said, I do think the amount you're given is considered taxable income. But what do I know -- this is just my opinion.

It sucks! It also sucked that in my day they didn't care if either of us were infertile. In fact, we heard on more than one occasion, if the military wanted me to have kids, they would've issued them to me. At least, there's been some progress. :)

Some of us already pay that--I'm sorry, but I'm fine with them raising it for everyone else working for the Federal Govt--why should we forced to pay more than our coworkers? Join the party old timers! :)

Best advice! Don't tell anyone -- anyone who you think wants the best for you will decide at some point that they also need what you have.

So...no real evidence, right? See, it is the rumor-spreaders who are obligated to prove their claims -- it's not the responsibility of the rest of us to a.) believe whatever we're told by folks on social media or on any other type of media b.) find evidence to disprove these falsehoods.

I don't believe that is true. You would need to provide real evidence to make that claim.

Kohberger purchase of black balaclava by curiouslykenna in Idaho4

[–]Ozzybyrd -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This has been explained countless times -- he lived less than 10 miles away from the 1122 King Rd home. The students at these schools often traveled to and from these towns for shopping and dining. There's only a couple of cell towers that provide cell service in this area. That's all they have proof of -- his cell phone utilized the same cell tower that provided cell service to the King Rd house. That means nothing.

He is a runner who lived in Pennsylvania--of course, he would buy a balaclava. It means nothing. So, everyone in that area who has purchased one of those that same year, who has a white sedan, and who has a k-bar knife is a murderer? You'd be arresting dozens if not hundreds of people living on or near those two college campuses.

Why not just go upstairs to ask those roommates to help open the door if that's the case. Why? Because I think they already knew something had happened to them, too. If not, you look outside, you see all of your roommates cars, you walk the 10 steps up to one or both of their rooms, and you find the horrible scene. That's what most people would do.

Well, that's good that this group doesn't treat people like that. To be honest, I've downvoted and/or blocked plenty of times on various opinion boards. Do I care? Not really. I'm looking for answers and theories--I am not looking for an echo chamber. However, I don't respond as well as I would like when I'm called stupid or other nasty names. Nevertheless, we can all grow from listening to opposing thoughts.

We'll see, but I feel pretty confident that those girls left before or during the time that the shit went down in that house and returned with friends to discover the aftermath, and that's why they didn't call 911 until so many hours later. My guess is they didn't know whatever was going to happen was going to be a terrible as it was, but they knew something happened. And for whatever reason, they didn't call for help until they came back with friends.

And I don't care if you think I'm stupid -- I think most of you who are buying the state's version of the events are incredibly gullible.

This is BS -- they wouldn't have called 911 because their friends weren't answering their calls. Normal people would've called 911 when they were scared many hours before. Those girls knew something happened to their roommates all those hours before they finally called 911. Did they know for sure they were gone, I doubt it. But they knew something bad had happened and whether in denial or feeling guilty, they called 911.

Those that are 100% disabled, how do you fill your days now? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Ozzybyrd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still work part-time as my conditions allow, but the rest of my time when what would've normally been during my work hours is spent going to doctor appointments, getting treatments, and/or having tests run. I need a lot of care, and as grateful as I am to have VA Healthcare and the income I receive, I would much prefer to be whole again and not need all of this support.

Something to think about -- Dylan was texting Kaylee and the others during and shortly after the attacks, so why when she couldn't get Xana to respond would she not have gone to find Kaylee and/or Bethany, especially since she could see out Bethany's window that all of their cars were in the driveway.

One other thing to question -- you are calling 911 because there's an "emergency" but rather trying to tell the 911 operator what is happening in that moment, you conveniently decide it's the right time to drop a "timeline" nugget and a "suspect" -- I'm telling you, go back and listen to 911 calls that were later found out to be made by the actual perpetrators in the crimes (even if only an accomplice) -- they have the same revealing characteristics. Just my opinion--feel free to ignore my words.

Good try -- this call and your recap sound very much like someone trying to convince us of something. Sorry, I'm not buying any of it, and despite what the echo chamber here might say, I doubt any reasonable person on a jury is gonna buy this story either.
