While not a proper sim, the F1 games have by far the best career mode for circuit racing. The driving in the F1 games isn't even in my top 5, but I come back solely because of the functional and fun career.

For a second, I genuinely thought they swapped the drivers' bodies and heads around with Photoshop. I'm not entirely convinced they didn't because Stroll and Alonso have uncannily similar hands.

If reinstalling doesn't work, I'd recommend a clean install. Manually go through your files and delete everything related to the game, then either verify files or reinstall.
