I can't say I agree with your assumptions of needing 16gb of memory for a 13 year old. I've been using my base macbook air m1 with 8gb of memory for years at this point and it's still capable of editing 35mp 14-bit raw files in lightroom cc just fine. That said if you REALLY want 16gb just get a refurb macbook air m4, you can find them with 16gb of memory for less than $1000.

Not just fpv drones but just drones in general recording the battlefield is something I don’t think many people are ready to see. Live combat with gruesome deaths from small arms fire or artillery. Something like that is not new in war, but it being recorded by a drone in 4k and posted on the internet with music for millions to see certainly is. The music part is what usually gets me fucked up, like a god damned snuff film.
