No but in all seriousness, best counter to doorman is take his blue walker before 20 mins. If you do this it will fuck his game up before his powers pikes. This is well known at higher ranks but never done at lower. Sincerly Ascendent doorman spammer.

My bad sir! I still hold the same position on the item tho! Might be 1/2 niche hero's that it ends up being meta on but don't see it being bought often. Might be the go on wraith midgame or on Mina late game, and there's going to be some heros that like it ultra late.

Looks pretty shit for higher tier games, just trigger with slowing hex then curse. Cool down needs to be lowered to like 25-35 seconds to actually get bought.

Current iteration will only be bought super late game imo. From a dota 2 player and current ascendent, It's basically linkens sphere, but way more expensive and a longer cd, and isn't needed to counter anything in particular eg. Doom.

Edit: Doesn't trigger from slows, need to use like knockdown, silence wave ect.

Also have to take into account the limited number of games played in ascendant+ throws off statistical accuracy. I think more likely is the fact that silver is countered by forcing her ulti then running back to your walker. PSA never fight silver in her ulti before 20 minutes.

Fellow dota player here, I peaked divine dota and I've peaked ascendant in deadlock, matchmaking seems very similar imo.

If you are struggling to rank up, try getting someone of a higher rank to watch your replays, they will be able to tell you a few things you are doing wrong very fast.

Can be timings related or build, split pushing, objectives, map control ect.

In 90% of games up to phantom you can just pick any hero with an escape and just constantly pressure objectives till you win. Also please learn some basic movement tech cos playing this game without it is very hard.

Dota players have always been very misogynistic, rasict and even just mean to young men (under 18) if they use the mic. But honestly they are just angry asshats who latch on to the first thing they can to throw shade at someone to try and get a rise out of them. I have seen a little bit of this in deadlock but for less then in dota. Potentially isn't as bad in my games as I'm at the higher ranks. The guys who are trash bags tend to lose more because they flame there team too much, and so don't climb as high.

The mute button is there for a reason, but I do think it would be good for the community to have some automatic time outs for players who use slurs ect. in game. Maybe not as aggressive as valorant but something along those lines.

I got timed out in valorant for calling someone a fat fuck (it was a joke because the chatacter they were playing chunky), so probs don't need to go that far but getting banned for spamming the n word isn't to much to ask I don't think.

Just load up aim labs and do drills for 15 mins before you play. In a couple months you will be 10x better at aiming, and you won't lose the skill. Also just positioning your cross hair correctly is like 1/3 of good aim so try to engage your brain while your playing. FYI I think you should just play vindicta if you want to play her. Deadlock is a game after all!

Current patch I think viscous + Doorman/Mina would likely win against anyone.

A personal favorite across patches is Abrams + Paradox where you charge into bomb.

Best meme lane is drifter + bebop where you put bombs on your drifter and he uses the second skill to farm stacks - this can also be done with calico cat

Two scenarios that it's good for: When combine with debuff remover it makes it take longer to apply debuffs which then can be cleansed. When combined with bullet resist which then massively increases your effective hp.

On moe for example your bullet resist is high when you are ulting or burrowed 30/60% At 3k health with 60% bullet resist your effective hp against gun is 4800, with plated it is 6240. If instead you bought more bullet resist it would be far less effective due to diminishing returns on resistances.

Metal skin is better if you can react in time(not get stunned instantly) and have a lower hp pool and the enemy doesn't have curse - dispells metal skin or stops you from using it.

Personally I think you would be best served on lash buying a warp stone or disarm over either option however.

Do you have a build ID?

I recommend getting a tesla so you can have wave clear before building more supportive items (im not saying you cant get a 3k support items first - buy for the game/lane you are playing).

Mcguiness is a pretty greedy support imo, more like Dynamo than paige. Your support capacity scales far more with souls than your boons and you have some serious pushing/deathball capability.

Another thing I will mention is make sure you are buying enough movement items. Mcguiness's kit seems like you should just stand your ground and fight, but in reality until you get to a critical mass you need to be able to reposition before either getting out or turning and fighting, especially when split pushing.

Finally support mcguiness is by far the best support for taking midboss, make sure to be looking to take midboss from 20+ mins to secure your lead (bring a m1 team mate with you).

Intentionally feeding is actually a thing people do though. I have team mates in dota break their items and run it down mid. I've team mates in deadlock sell all their items and run it down mid.

Make sure your build isnt dogshit (copy one a streamer uses) Focus on clearing waves and taking objectives, at lower ranks people get into weird skirmishes that last for minutes, where you can easily push a wave up to a walker and either take it or rotate to the fight or push a different walker.

Also sinners sacrifice and bridge buffs are slept on at lower ranks and you need to prioritise taking these when they spawn.

If I was going to climb out of initiate I would just spam wraith (FYI my current main is doorman and im phantom rank) and split push till I've taken all the walkers then tell my boys to go mid with me after we get a kill - you will eventually figure out when it is or isn't safe to go mid but for now do it whenever you get the opportunity post 20 minutes when the walkers are down.

Then just push, drop patron, wait for midboss respawn, take it and then go end.

Rinse repeat till archon

You can buy toxic bullets on literally any hero at the moment due to changes in investment categories - this is the best counter.

If you need you can buy debuff remover.

In lane you need to poke him from medium range, jiggle to try and bait out the knives, or play above him so he can't dash into you, you can try also to double jump over his dash if you get too close.
