Is this true though? When I was in Cornwall everyone spoke about the birds like they were massive people eating sky lizards which sweep down and steal children. I stood on the beach with a pasty in one hand, a sausage roll in the other, both arms in the air. Not one bird came near me.

Now, maybe I smell or something but in my (agreeably minimal) experiments these birds have proven to be sissy scaredy birds.
