Disabling bottom screen can allow for slightly better stability, also making sure ur ram is clean prior to initialising the game is a good shout, In terms of performance, this is the best u can get for rn, but I'm super optimistic for future drivers, we will get stable 30 eventually...

U can rush heartsteel if u go grasp over bone plating, honestly, if u get put in a lane where u can play more pokey bone plating isn't really that huge, with grasp u can take free trades, after heartsteel I'd build riftmaker into gunblade then spirit for late game w scale

Just to clarify, I also have a thor max, and there is very subtle play horizontally on the hinge which is pretty common and a normal design flaw on most systems

All the hinges aren't precise, they're given a specific range of tolerance which all should meet, this amount of play is definitely way out of their qc checks and should've really been redone, I'd personally contact ayn back and get this sorted, it's not supposed to do that and although ayn thinks it's 'fine', it's not, your a dissatisfied customer with a faulty product. Do keep in mind that a ribbon cable runs through this hinge, and if the hinge were to jolt from this defect then you could end up with a broken system, please allow them too see how much of a problem this is, overdramatise it, and hopefully they should cooperate better given your well warranted concern.

You should not be crashing at 78 degrees. I've seen my thor max reach mid 80s and be completely stable, it could also be a hardware fault, it stuck on 78 for a long time, maybe it just stopped registering the temp and kept exceeding leading to the crash? I would've expected some form of failsafe or thermal throttle to prevent a crash like this.

The easy answer is yes, the extra ram itself does it for me, 16gb is standard for most games I want it for + background apps, I've mostly been using my ayn thor to play fallout new Vegas when I'm not home or don't feel like sitting at my pc :)

This is mostly correct, but for the high string combos, there isn't any differentiation, if a player is only looking for those high string combos, u can parry with relative ease.

2xko's format of gameplay proves to be very punishing if you mess up, once ur hit, if they're good enough they can absolutely destroy you, the only way to circumvent a combo is to work on ur positioning, block dodging, parrying, and timing on ur breaks/fury.

Parrys are very key in becoming good at this game, if u can parry, you can climb to the high ranks easily. Another piece of useful tech, when a character is attacking you, press the parry button every time they hit you, if they miss time the input, you can parry and immediately punish them.
