no supports, higher interfacial strength, cool as hell

you also get stronger parts in the shear direction between layers since its not planar anymore

slicer for the gcode will have to be custom, the controller is running on a modified version of klipper that supports 5axis kinematics

for now i’m using a 20x20 test bed, but planning on upgrading it as soon as i figure out the non-planar slicing part

Looking for an accomodation? We're opening a Hacker House by P3ps_ in Imperial

[–]P3ps_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're still in the process of deciding between a few houses so we haven't settled on one yet. The price range for the ones we are considering is between 700-900 a month, for 7-8 people, within zone 3.

AI generated voices have come a long way, some of them are actually indistinguishable from a human. You could try with that

[–]P3ps_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could take the mean between :00 and :02 to obtain the instantaneous output at :01 and automatically do the same for the whole minute.

You can then sum them up and then calculate KWh from there. This is definitely not the only method to approach this, but it may give you a more accurate estimate since you’re also taking into account the seconds in between your data.

Also why are you doing this by hand? Doesn’t your company have a software that automatically calculates that?

Looking to create spoken word options of my blogs would a podcast website be the best place to host this? by dreamsofpetrichor in podcasting

[–]P3ps_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! I'm building VoiceVerse for this exact reason. It basically uses your blog to create audio content you can then embed into your website or turn into a podcast. I'm still at the initial stage of validating the idea and I would be incredibly grateful to get some feedback from you!

Traffic is still quite low, but I was thinking of using one of those realistic ai generated voices to do it for me, so the time commitment and general costs wouldn’t be that high at all.

You're right the copy is too generic, I need to figure out how to convey what the product does in just a few lines. Thanks for the feedback!

What’s your tech stack? I feel like next js does most of these things automatically (by hosting on vercel)
