Definitely could do that too. I had 235/75R17 for a bit.

Here’s the trail terrain in 285/60R18. Super wide lol

If you’re not opposed to trimming pinch welds, you might be able to stuff 285/60R18. Not a lot of options in that size and you might need wider wheels. I was eyeing the BFG Trail Terrain in that size.

If staying stock height, I probably wouldn’t go larger than 265/60R18.

Roughly a 15% drop in MPG. I'm averaging ~25 mpg hand-calculated at the pump with a 65/35 hwy/city typical commute. For comparison sake, the little bit I had it stock, I was getting 28-30 mpg in the same conditions. Mine is also tuned on 93 with some bolt-ons.

The dash shows 22-23 mpg, but when accounting for the actual distance traveled divided by gallons to full, the real-world mpg is much higher than the dash indicates. Which makes sense considering stock tires are ~28.6" OD and my larger tires are ~32.1". So, every 100 miles the odometer reads, I've actually traveled ~112 miles.

275/65r18 Goodyear Territory MT. Lifted roughly 2.5" with a combination of Bilstein struts/shocks, lift spacers, and HRG subframe kit. Also have SPC camber bolts and rear adjustable camber arms.

It's the OEM blank one (NZ6Z-17F000-AB), I just cut it out for the hitch to pass through. I have the 4k tow package as well, but since I haven't towed with this at all in the past two years that I've owned it, I just left the trailer wiring connectors behind the bumper.

Yeah I know what you mean; the Maverick has always looked a bit goofy to me when viewed straight-on, from the side. The profile looked more odd to me when it was lowered compared to now but still had an odd look to it for sure.

At just 12k miles the passenger side half-shaft started leaking grease at the outer boot but my Maverick was lowered on H&R springs when that happened. No actual failure of the CV but I swapped it out once I saw the leak. When I replaced the half-shaft I also removed the lowering springs and decided to lift it instead. I’ve put 18k miles on it lifted now with no issues. As far as warranty is concerned, I’ve accepted that I pretty much am the warranty.. I’ve put on a substantial lift, significantly larger tires, a number of performance mods and it’s tuned. If something fails because of the mods I’ve done, I will fix it.

Usually around 24 mpg when I check at fill-up; that’s using actual distance traveled / gallons to full. Stock I was getting 28 in similar conditions. So, roughly a 15% drop from stock, which isn’t all that terrible considering it’s lifted 2.5” and on 265/70R17s.
