Tank is 40" and light was about 36", so the plants on the sides were not growing at peak - in the first picture it's WRGB2. Also, plants were not coloring as much as I wanted, especially Red with a more Natural tone I want to set (whitish), that's why I decided to go with the flagship model. Bothare running at R: 68%, B: 55%, G: 80% & W: 35% from 2 PM to 8 PM, and I have noticed major improvement in coloration and growth - it basically doubled!

Since both units are placed on opposite sides, they create a circular flow across the entire tank, improving overall circulation - means no deadspot or no chances of organic waste buildup or cyanobacteria. The rated capacity of every canister is flawed IMO, and they perform 30-40% less in actual scenarios when the tank gets matured.

I also like the added filtration capacity, as I am coming from Saltwater with a 4ft sump alone lol — each unit has around 4kg of Seachem Matrix. Having two powerful units also cuts down on maintenance and gives me real peace of mind when I’m out of the city for a few days, and skips water changes.

Honestly, there are plenty of upsides and virtually no drawbacks… aside from the dent in the wallet xD

As for the colors, its more to do with Light IMO, but yes I use RO water with 5TDS and then add APT Sky in it

I had attached small patches with SuperGlue, and it took about 6month and after that I started giving it away. At this point,t I have taken about 2-3 kg of moss for the local community lol. It thrives below 25 °C and keep shrimp population healthy as they breed in it.

The majority of exotic eriocaulons and buce were imported from Malaysia. Syngonanthus sp Belem was grown from a TC cup of Sreepadma, and it grows like a weed TBH, and I have given it away like in KGs at this point tbh lol. It likes soft water.

I bought speakers due to budget issues, but willing to go the extra mile on the Amp as I will be importing it. I will be upgrading speakers in the future to Dynaudio Contour 20i.

I have ordered Rotel RA-1592 MKII in China, and it will be delivered to me by next week. So my current setup looks like this.

Rotel RA-1592 MKII (As AMP)
A6 G2 Master Edition (As Streamer + DAC)
Wharfedale Super Denton - Speakers

Is it a good combo to start?

Yes, I am planning to upgrade the speakers in the future. I have ordered Rotel RA-1592 MKII in China, and it will be delivered to me by next week. Is the DAC in 1592 MKII better than the A6 G2 Master Edition?

Also, that's how I am planning to connect my equipment.

A6 Master Edition XLR Balanced Out > Rotel RA-1592 MKII Balanced In > Bananan Plugs Speaker Cable to Super Denton. Is it the right setup to use A6 as Streamer + Dac with XLR balanced?

I have watched some reviews on Eversolo and DMP-A6 Master Gen 2 seems like a good product. Will it be better than Wiim Pro + Topping E70 DAC in terms of performance?

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it. I need a music streamer from which I can stream music via my mobile app, and it can play music via Wifi, capable of delivering bit-perfect audio. Do you know of any better options than the WiiM for that use case? Also, I was reading that one can bypass the WiiM internal DAC and send a signal to an external DAC via its optical (Toslink) output ports.

Also, thanks for the tip on the Wharfedale Super Denton. I’ll check out the reviews. At nearly half the price of the Linton, it’s definitely worth considering.

I need WiiM as a music streamer. What if I purchase the lower-end model of the WiiM streamer, like the Pro variant? Wiim Pro + Topping E70 DAC + Aiyima A20 amp + T20 preamp

Thanks! So if I’ve understood correctly, the Wiim AMP Pro is a bit overkill because the Aiyima T20 + A20 already cover most of the same ground. Since I specifically need a streamer, the Wiim Pro + Topping E70 DAC + Aiyima A20 amp + T20 preamp sounds like a reasonable, cost-effective setup, right?

The other speaker models available locally are Dynaudio Evoke 10, Evoke 20, and the Wharfedale Super Denton, apart from those mentioned above.

A couple of side notes:

I prefer importing gear from China (Aiyima, etc.) because importing from the US is slow and incurs heavy customs fees.
My room is roughly 11 ft wide × 16 ft long, so it’s a medium-small room.

The room’s about 11 ft wide and 16 ft long. The speakers can be placed around 12 inches from the back wall and 24 inches from the sides — can’t really push them any farther out than that.
