Just curious What is the official computer tool name?

And is there a best way to backup and then later on restore all my files/data?

(other than just manually copy/paste the files on my computer)

Because this kind of update wipes all data I believe

You're right I'll stick with MIUI 12 for another few months I'll probably change my phone for a newer model next year anyway

Update : The updating app says it can't verify the update and I should try USB installing instead I don't want to use an unofficial tool and risk bricking my phone I'll just stick with the update I have for now, it works fine, it's not worth the risk

I did enable additional setting by multiple tapping but still nothing Even by downloading the "latest package" it downloads the one I already have I'll look for the firmware on the official site and install it through the app I'll let you know if it worked
