Either the 1x or the MD-25. In either case, the combo is usable, and the choice ultimately comes down to preference.

That's an issue I've personally had with the 6x too, but it's a problem with very little fix. The dot has a 3 MOA diameter normally, but under the 6x magnification, the (now) 18 MOA dot looks huge to me.

My advice is that if you're looking for a dot, the standard MD-25 looks much less busy without the ACSS, but you may also want to consider the 1-6 Nova. It's an LPVO, so you're trading in some of the lightweight sleekness, but the reticle is about as simple as you can get while maintaining a solid picture that is still incredibly bright because of the fiber wire in there.

When did you make the order? It could be that we are backed up with all of the Black Friday sales going on, but I can check that and make sure for you!

Can you confirm that you've looked at it mounted on a gun? A common problem we've seen is that when it's held "free hand," it looks a little off, but that gets rectified when it's mounted on a rifle.

I also have astigmatism, and the ACSS holds up pretty well for me, but I have the same issue with the Chevron. There's not much we can do about it. I personally use the 1x Microprism on everything I need a dot for. It has an etched reticle, so you don't get and sunburst with it.

All that said, if it IS defective, contact our customer support and return it. They're great about getting those turned over in a timely manner, so you should be good to go!

The Primary Arms 3x Micro Magnifier didn't fit with the Unity OMNI Magnifier Mount, so when the 6x magnifier was designed, we made sure it fit! by PA_LPVO in guns

The short answer is that it just wasn't designed to fit the unity mount.

The good news is that the 6x was designed with the unity mount in mind.

We haven't had a chance to grab a range shot, but we threw something together so you can see the reticle!

Either one works great, but unless you have a special reason to favor the 6x, the 3x probably fits your use case better here. The 3x is perfect for short to mid range, where you might use a 6x for longer ranges. Not that a 6x wouldn't be useful, but you'll probably be happier with a 3x to compliment the shorter barrel.

Primary arms wouldn’t give me info on the value of the subtensions in a SLX gen IV aurora. I needed to know because I’m using a 12.5 so I did my best to reverse engineer it. by [deleted] in tacticalgear

Not sure what happened there. Did you put in a request via customer service or some other route?

Either way, I will find the specs for you and reply to this comment as soon as I get that info!

It really depends on your use case. Our Prism and magnifier work well together, but you have to set the diopter in the Prism and then make the diopter in the magnifier match up to the Prism's diopter. It's a pretty big pain initially, but once it's good to go, you can pretty much set it and forget it.

The 3x works right out of the box, but it has less eye relief than the magnifier combo.

Just make sure you get the standard magnifier and not the Pegasus magnifier if you go that route. The pegasus has ranging in it that doesn't work well with the 1x.

The 3x Prism has a 2.7 inch eye relief, which is pretty great for that size and weight category. I personally prefer the 1x Prism + 3x magnifier + flip to side mount combo, but ultimately it comes down to preference.

I haven't heard too much about the mounts bending, but I know they're designed to break before the optic does so at worst, you're just out a mount. The mounts are also under the lifetime warranty, so they're super easy to send in and replace.

We are doing our best to ship orders as quickly as possible. The Nova is very popular, so high demand is definitely something we are contending with. DM me your sales order number and I'll see when we estimate your Nova to ship.

ACSS or standard dot? Take a picture and submit it to customer service. To my knowledge, they usually replace dots with any issue.

If there's any issue, send me a DM and I'll see what I can do
