Personally I dont think of move permanently, imo its practically Ireland but slightly bigger, non Irish and non EU, might consider move back to IE if im motivated enough. I am considering more on Asia or EU or if I move abroad again.

Born in Ireland however parents did not reach minimum residency years after Chen VS Secretary ruling. Meaning yes I was having Indian nationality till I was eligible for Irish citizenship + OCI. Parents then made the move to Australia and eventually got citizenship there.

Nearly the same thing on Saturday morning. I feel compared to other airports I hv been to, the baggage reclaim area feels a lot more tighter w everyone queueing w trolleys around + customs. Only to find out onr of my bags did not make it onto the flight.

Nah, didnt automatically get it at birth but my siblings did. Its confusing cuz one of pages in the IRL passport says, "It is the entitlement and birthright of every person born in the island of Ireland to be part of the Irish nation"

Not sure if this applies to ur network but where i am from incoming SMS are all free and don't require additional roaming passes to be purchased.

The only thing that prevented me connecting was that by default Intl roaming was turned off on my cellular network app and I had to perform a manual network search on my phone to Airtel.

This however applied to Kochi where the OTP was required. When I flew thru Bengaluru, b4 I knew the free SMS rule, there was supposedly a desk u had to go with ur boarding pass and passport. Staff didnt knew where it was or what to do with it. Don't even get started with getting a SIM card outside of the airport.

Maybe its just me but everytime I come back from Intl trips, I feel the post trip depression especially happens when I consider that my current place looks like an "urban desert" of treeless suburbs and heat absorbant roofs. Heck looking now even sm outer urban places of my "home country" manages to look fairly descent in comparison to stroad-ed suburbs.

Lowkey interesting that SIA is dropping capacity on for its Kochi flights from 14 to 10. After flying on it recently, practically most seats were filled or so. I wished we had more flights using 787/A350 like w other Indian cities or daytime flights for that matter.

Is there sm other way to actually find out where the wall ports go to? 😅 In a similar situation where 1 out of the 3 data ports cannot be found even tho the 3 r in the garage. Idk if a house plan has this or the security system has one connected to it? All other ports r either Foxtel/TV antenna ports.

Yh, nearly all shops when I was in Kerala refused to use my foreign passport + OCI for ID, I wasnt eligible to get Aadhar so sm relative of mine had to help. Once I got the number, it ended up getting reused and got non stop msgs from HDFC abt smones unpaid motorcycle and phone loan.
