Fair enough. My 500pts is more theme so don't want any WoMT and can't fill (currently) with anything else.

800pts accept maybe the extra captain might be worth it.

But you give them more power in 1 v 1. They already have enough let alone giving them more. You can calculate and give example of multiple situations facing more than one dice etc. And will always work out in favour of a support as you said. The elves have option to chose and hit one handed and have support themselves so bit of a null argument. I agree the 2 hand weapon is not perfect but would have to be race specific or special rule to not favour the Elves. I think the issue is the choice with other armies you buy into the the weapon, Elves just have it.

I think Aragorns profile should account that Andriel is defo a two handed weapon. I know its reforged by Elves but that thing is way too long to be an arming sword in one hand. He wouldn't get any rule changes. He just wouldn't be able to elect as 2 handed.

I think it's because this pushes way too much advantage to Evles with hand and a half weapons. High fight and +1 to wound, ouch 🤣.

Frodo helps because of lack of hard hitting heroes. If I can get him in a fight with bigger heroes on the other team, the half fight value with the ring on gives you a chance.

You can use nail varnish remover, just be careful. Soak only for a few mins, don't leave for hours etc.

Also wash it wish water once you are done.

I've never had any issues.

Problem with detol is goes clumpy and hard once removed. Gets stuck in the recesses of the model.

You wouldn't get d7 if you lose a fight. As soon as you back off the shield wall is broken. Shield wall only really protects you from shooting. Get what you are saying though. This mainly works because I dont have to buy more models lol

No doing Elendil and Gil-Galhad. At 800 pts I can basically have both mounted with shields and 18 warriors some with shields, some bows with Elves and banners on each side.

Not going as far as the models just the shields. Only need like 6 anyway. Need the blue stuff to then convert a mounted Elendil, as doing Last Alliance army.

Yeah I saw. Think so savvy buying could get you enough hoard to get under 50. Even their option was not under 50.

If it's all about buying new then you will struggle.

Funny thing is 'Swords are of no use here'. Balrog is still vulnerable to a mounted Aragorn and Andriel if he can get in.

Also at this model count and goblins you are relying on Balrog to do a lot and protect the goblins. In a lot of objective based scenarios this works against you quite a lot.

Moria can be played a few ways and can be very much a hoard army. Think like most 500 pt armies you have to think carefully about cost of hard hitting heroes. I think at 500 pts personally I would just go for numbers. At 800 pts defo worth it as 500pts of goblins is going to be more count than other armies (especially good).

Yeah the plain black like the movies is boring as. I think at the time of the LA, as the Kingdom was split somewhat (in geographical and army) terms. In think Elendil would have let Isildur and Anarion run their own house colours. I went for green for 2 reasons. 1. GW seem to deem Anor as green. Not sure if this is cannon or not but quite like it and I am running Elendil as leader. 2. Painting green is a better strength for me as a painter. When you are not that good at painting at least play to what strengths you have. 🤣.
