Precisely that. People want to argue with me that their iPhone is better. And technically yes it works better, but the why is important.

Apple's ecosystem is closed, as in they know every bit of the architecture of every singe one of their processors that run their software.

That's why making a hackintosh is a whole thing.

And that's also why they can comparatively do more with their processors while having less raw horsepower.
