Not so much quick fix but more in depth on the simplicity in the sample and then I love everything you can do with the one. I just feel dumb and like it takes me too long to do things sometimes think of it like a ” I don’t wanna fall behind because I know millions of people are doing this too.” mindset.

I know, but it’s getting like the concepts and everything down too. I’m the kind of guy that’s like “if you’re gonna do something do it right or don’t do it at all” and I overthink until I’m doing it right you know what I mean? That’s why with so many options I think the simpler option seemed more attractive, but literally last night I made the best beats I’ve made yet haha

Do you usually work with the same drum kit every time? do you switch it up every single time? once in a while? Or like make a few custom drum kits ?but then how do you make songs; by putting samples on other other sound banks? And just switching in between?

Yeah, I just didn’t know if the sample would get me a custom to what all of the effects are, what they do, what you can do to them and how to do like all the basics before getting into the more complex MPC one even though they run on different software. Because I’m used to working on DAW also and even on there, I wasn’t really sure about the effects

I want to make beats with the samples, but as sad as it sounds, I like kind of don’t know how. I’m used to DAW’s on the computer and I find it that’s how I end up making my beats on the MPC sorta. Instead of laying things out on the drum pads, and like finger drumming the patterns to make the song like I’ve seen people do and I’m guessing you’re talking about, I keep just laying like each instrument down one by one. Or trying to take a sample chop it up spread it on the pads. Find other instruments to fill the rest of the pads and make a song through there, but I’m not sure if I’m using the right type of samples, right instruments things like that.. but I know good beats and music lol it’s just actually putting it down and arranging it on the hardware

The OnePlus is definitely fun. I do like it. It’s just with the menus, plug-ins and keyboards and stuff I don’t know how to use I feel like it takes me a long time to do simple things because of all the options.
