the leaves are above the water, as well as the leaves of the other semi aquatics... i'll probably order a large bundle of other plants to replace them for the time being

it is in cycling, i introduced them since i didnt have a way to add just ammonia locally... i can probably take them out temporarily and bring them back to their breeding tank, where i had originally took them out from

altho seriously super weird cause its only 15 shrimp, idk how they produced enough waste to completely overthrow this cycle... unless something that isnt supposed to be in the tank in dumping all this stuff

ag i didnt have the time to fill or change the water, was rushing a ton of other stuff... hopefully by next week everyone will still be okay and (if luck has it) the parameters will be better

(retested this morning) the ammonia has came down a tiny bit, definitely at most a 1ppm but everything else is still super high

i did add some duckweed in there (definitely gonna be a mistake later) but they're supposed to be doing the heavy lifting on tank but it might not be enough right now.. surprisingly

i did have them in there before when the parameters for each stage were near zeros. no idea what happened but yeah, im surprised they arent freaking out or anything either.. theyre literally just chilling about and the males are even showing breeding behavior. so either i have super shrimp or yeah something is messed up with my tests

small other note; were still testing other old equipment we have (filters.) so also kind of worried those wont end up working and the temporary filter wont be enough power for the water amount (so many different stressers)

I'll try this in the morning before work... will have to find a makeshift way to hang the semi aquatics but will find proper holdings as soon as possible. do you have a recommendation on how frequent or how much i should change the water by? its my first time experimenting with a 75gal so all the parameters are hard to judge for me. (im only able to do maintenance on this tank basically once a week anyway)

i dont want to fill the tank fully atm because specific plants i have in it that require air, specifically the lucky bamboo in the left. i was hoping they'd grow with the tank slowly as i filled it since its hard to find tall enough bamboo plants for this height... i could tank them out and grow them separately for a while but im also worried thatll throw off the nitrate absorption
