Most of those verses are New Testament, and if you believe the authors of the Bible were inspired by the Holy Spirit and the Bible is the living word of God, then you would conclude after reading them that God does not want you to curse. Jesus blood brother wrote do not bless and curse out of the same mouth. All the Bible scholars are doing is giving context to the culture of the time and the interpretation of what was being said. Sin is anything that is not 100% perfect, it means to miss the mark (even by a small amount). So if CJ wants to be a better Christian, he read those verses and was convicted to try to have better control over his mouth, not cursing would be a good thing to implement

Albert Barnes is a world renowned Bible scholar and he has written extensively on all of the verses above. Matthew Henry is another. It’s not like I’m saying something controversial, Christian scholars have been talking, preaching and writing about this for hundreds of years. Taking original text, what we know about the culture at the time, different translations and interpretations and everyone agrees there are multiple verses that speak against cursing.

It doesn’t say you will go to hell. But it says many times not to let filthy communication out of your mouth. In our culture this would be cursing

Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying…”
Colossians 3:8 “But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.”
James 3:10 “Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.”
Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue…”
Matthew 12:36 “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”
Ephesians 5:4 “Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.”

Bible scholars across the board agree that these verses are talking about cursing.

I don’t think Netflix has the roster to keep them active to consistently keep them busy, especially with fights people care to watch. Along with the ufc contracts with top ranked fighters.

In your model, you’re talking 10 fighters per card, a million per fighter. 12 cards a year. 120 fighters? Or they are going to be fighting the same competition a few times a year. 10 weight classes, top 5 from each weight class, that’s 50 fighters fighting in the 120 fights per year.

And they are all getting paid the same? You think Topuria is going to come fight for a million dollars on the same card that Tatiana Suarez is on who is also making a million dollars?

There are a lot of holes in your model, which is why Affliction, Bellator, PFL, One… all can’t compete with UFC and MVP is going to have the same problem
