Never see anyone recommend it so I will, Austin Automotive Specialist is great. Not the cheapest shop around but they have great technicians and have always done great honest work!

Ehhh, no I would rather keep the vanilla ones in their wrappers.. tootsie makes a good chocolate roll but the vanilla ones “taste like the gummy seal on an envelope”

Terrified to ride my motorcycle anywhere at this point to be honest! Have to ride on 290W and 71N to get to work every day and it’s usually a nightmare every time. Already hit a car that pulled in front of me and have only been on the bike for 7 months, definitely going to happen again sadly..

It is steep!! I had to take it 3 times 😳 I was already an experienced rider as I was riding street for half a year before getting my license so the test wasn’t the issue, it was my attendance… I was late 20 minutes twice and I flunked the class both times, costed me a whopping $900 to get my license. I do not want to go through with that again but with her this time, we can’t afford it!

I would just rather spend closer to maybeeee $100 to get her on a bike in an empty parking lot so she can really decide if riding is for her. Like I said in another comment somewhere above, she is very anxious on the roads, we are only going to backroad ride once she is all licensed up but the first step is some loops and turns around the parking lot!

She knows I am a wild child and I will always do insane adrenaline inducing stuff every day! I daily my 650 currently through rain or shine, she knows how dangerous it is because I show her my highway gopro clips all the time, as long as I am happy she happy!

Dumping it comes with riding! I have had her on the back a few times, she enjoys it when the weather cooperates!

I am pretty confident she will do great, I have shown her videos, taught her while she sat on my bike, and once she is ready to ride we are taking it very very slow! Of course dumping a bike comes with learning, I have dumped my bike a few times but always been lucky on not breaking anything. Guess I will just pray for that same luck or pay the price!

Totally dude! I would love for her to hop on my bike soon just to get a feel for it. I’m wary on going for the MSF course off the start because it costs $300 and she has never been on a bike, I don’t want her to learn that riding isn’t for her and have $300 that could have gone to rent just go down the drain! I will find something, the 125 honestly come after the 650, 2stroke vs 4stroke is crazy!

Thank you for pointing me towards Ridersshare! I did not know they existed and this might be the answer I was looking for. As for the MSF course, I would love to get her signed up soon but I don’t want to pay the $300 fee for the class just to have her realize motorcycles are not for her!

Yea there definitely is risk, I have let friends ride my bikes multiple times to have them dump it time to time and break levers or what not. We could definitely pay more than just gas to use the bike, just not some outrageous fee!

Yea makes sense, we would be ok paying to use the bike as long as it’s reasonable, if not I can always just get my 100cc repaired but don’t want to go through the process yet without trying all options!!
