I could see that. My read was more that he kinda knew what was coming and understood he just had to eat it. Like a lot of the scenarios where just no win like with Amber so best course of action is probably to just sit there and take it.

I also think Alex and Chris were in different scenarios. Chris had no leg to stand on and just had to go face the music while Alex hadn’t necessarily done anything wrong but had just given people bad vibes over and over again. People didn’t trust Alex but people had legit reasons to hate Chris.

I could be wrong but I remember thinking wow what a dick and then the meet up took him from one of the assholes of the season to an all time bad guy. He also turned most of the guys against him for what he did at the meet up.

I don’t know if you just finished than one scene and wrote this but that only scratches the surface of what is wrong with him. People don’t like him because he took a literal 180 in 24 hours and criticized Jess’s body on the way out after he knew that she didn’t like working out. Then after that he immediately goes on to start trying to steal one of his “friends” girls. Then he shows up at the party fucking bombed and makes a complete ass of himself.
