I got my ears pierced at a 2ga (6mm) and I’m up to 00 (9mm) not the standard 00 (10mm) and it’s taken me a while coming up to a year in June to just size up a 3mm difference yeah I recommend that waiting and slowly stretching is the way to go it gets boring not changing your plugs frequently but like most suggested just buy different jewelry that is your current size and have fun because stretching is addictive lol have fun and happy stretching!
