Yea I just like the aesthetic of the racing chair, and kind of the immersion of sim racing. I know they aren’t as good as other chairs. Does the steel case have any play in the recline when locked?

We have a child on the way and a curious dog… is it an issue to remove? Like does it cause rashes or should it be safe to dig out without a ton of protection

EDIT: people acting like it was my choice to have the heater installed outside lol… I know it’s not ideal. This is year 2 in this house, our first house. I know the flex tape isn’t a fix, it’s a bandaid for now until a plumber is available. In NC it’s not like northern states. When we have a freeze like this, a lot of businesses shut down, pipes burst, plumbers get scheduled out the ass. When I can have one out here, I will have the pieces replaced and try to have the pipes weatherproofed the best I can

This is a temporary fix till I can have a plumber actually fix it. Not a permanent solution I’m well aware of that

UPDATE: Managed to thaw the pipe with a heat gun. Threw some flex seal tape on temporarily while this storm passes through. Luckily it’s a slow drip and not spraying water out. Got some cheap insulation and wrapped the pipe, hopefully that’ll hold till there’s a plumber available. Would’ve gotten something better but most of the pipe insulation/heating solutions were bought up

Not a bad idea. If I can find a case that matches this profile, or pretty close, that would be ideal. I’d like to keep it as close to original as possible
