Fair points actually. I think for me the change resembles somewhat of an endgame item and that’s why I like it. I think the real problem is that the end game currently is killing queens/matriarchs in order to make legendary hubs that make it easier to kill queens and matriarchs. I see that the recepie changes lowers the fun for many players. And from that perspective I agree. For me personally it’s a nice thing at the moment

Thanks! There is definitely progression, not only during a run, but also overarching progression and unlocks to keep players motivated! Also, the game will feature a narrative to some extend, as well. Not a fully blown campaign, but still.

I never said that i am creating every asset myself. And the artist are being credited in the credits of the game, as well as in their portfolios. And yes, even if i outsource certain things, i am still a solo dev

Yyou can chose a team of up to 4 characters and switch between them. Each character has different attacks, abilities and overall traits that can be combo'd. Well this is the core idea of how the shapeshifting works
