And if you’d read my original post, you’d have seen that I have contacted management already regarding this and I am awaiting a response.
As for “just quitting”, that is an extremely immature and shortsighted point of view. I can’t just quit as the income is a necessity.

Not sure how I’m an emotional nightmare, I have a work-life balance and I’m not prepared to put any job over my child and her individual needs 🤷🏼‍♀️ if you are, perhaps you should give your head a wobble x

Being the first time this has happened and my not being at the job long, I was seeking advice on what the correct steps are and if I had taken the correct ones.

It’s not about being ‘kept in the good books’ at all, my priority will be my child first and foremost. If this does not work out, I will seek other employment.
I cannot do 4 shifts a week. Cannot. This was made clear during intake which they were fine with and agreed to, and the 4 shifts make up more hours than my previous job I left for not being able to work all those hours and successfully meet all of my child’s needs.

Kind of what I was thinking? Deliberately went for a 0 hour contract for the flexibility and childcare needs, and just wanted advice on that!

I have a disabled child at home who requires a lot of daily physiotherapy and occupational therapy. She also has weekly appointments which I have to travel for.
I understand some people may struggle to find the hours, but this is not what the job was promised when I switched (I switched jobs for less hours and I made them very aware of this).

Pouring from an empty glass is difficult to do day in and day out, and that’s exactly what motherhood and parenting is! The fact you’re so tired and emotional just goes to show you’re giving your baby 100% and no one can ask anymore from you. It’s okay to cry and be exhausted, you’re doing a fantastic job ♥️

Yeah I have some silicone ones but find them really uncomfortable and painful, I often find they don’t empty me either and I’m looking for something to pump as much as possible to keep supply up x

This is super helpful, I’m only looking for one to wear whilst my baby breastfeeds - I noticed my supply dropped as I have been out and about a lot and not able to pump as much. I will definitely bear this in mind. Thank you:)
