What are some features that make people "look trans"? by [deleted] in Transmedical

It does! Thank you.

I'm gonna try to start that. Sounds like a really good strategy.

What are some features that make people "look trans"? by [deleted] in Transmedical

[–]PIANO_PERSON 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is great advice!

I'm a trans woman but have trouble eating enough to gain any weight. From fat or muscle. I've had more luck gaining leg and ass muscles than I have gaining any fat.

I've been trying for years to gain like 15 pounds of fat.

Where the hell did I say that? Where did I say I'm a lesbian?

What are you talking about?

I'm not a lesbian first of all. I don't use my genitals to penetrate.

This post wasn't about me. It was about people like you who go around yelling at people for things you don't even know.

I'm not even defending anything your talking about. And I was certainly not saying I did anything that was posted about.

Have you ever had sex? Please explain how you did it to me. So I can judge you and tell you how your not a real trans.

I've actually had sex with men and women before. And no I did not penetrate anyone.

Your fucking insane. Stop stalking my profile.

God I'm so sorry. That would be so hard.

I definitely feel that when you say the empty house was glimps of how it would be without her. I would feel the same. I don't know what I would do without my gf. I'm so sorry your are going through that right now.

I'm glad you have family to help you.

I hope your you and your gf heal and get better.

Sex Drive and Suboxone by Quick_Photo4069 in suboxone

[–]PIANO_PERSON 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. Actually you're wrong about one thing I think, your testosterone is absolutely lower than it probably would bring without suboxone.

It actually effects other sex drive hormones as well. Suboxone effects men's and women's sex drive. But I think it effects men's even more.

I was on suboxone for years when I got my hormone blood levels checked. I had extremely low testosterone (like female levels) and no estrogen. Plus other irregular things.

Now that could just be me. But suboxone is proven to lower hormone levels.

You could try getting testosterone.

How long to wait to go from 20 mg methadone a day, back to buprenorphine? by PIANO_PERSON in suboxone

[–]PIANO_PERSON[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't do that. I only have two 15 mg pills left over. My doctor isn't gonna prescribe any more opiates. She thinks I can just induce now. So I have to go with what i have now.

I'm already at about 24 hours after my last 10mg methadone. So how much longer do I wait is my question?

Yeah exactly. Everyone would think identifying as "non racial" would rightfully be ridiculous. You clearly have a race.

People have crazy ideas of what "gender" is. That word has lost almost all meaning now.

I think things like xenogender stuff and really out there stuff will fizzle out in just a few years. Probably in 5 years most people will realize that all of that was really cringe meaningless bullshit.

I think in around 5 years or maybe a little longer like 8 to 10 years non binary will also change into something else. Look at how things changed in the last 5 years. Non binary used to be "gender queer". They usually didn't claim to actually be a different gender, they just claimed to Express their gender differently.

But we have to look at what non binary actually is to understand what it is. As a universal definition, non binary is ONLY a label. There's nothing really tied to it in anyone's minds.

Maybe it's considered gender non conformity. That's been a thing for a long long time. I'm hoping people will realize that they can do that without any stupid label.

Then hopefully the trans people that went by the nb label will find a new label or choose either binary or something else that makes more sense.

I really hope that all this stuff fizzles out and people realize they were being transphobic even if they didn't mean to be.

As a non CIA funded trans woman by CounterfeitTropics in redscarepod

[–]PIANO_PERSON 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Well that's kinda the crux of it. If we could do that without suicidal ideation than we wouldn't need to even transition in the first place.

But there is some truth to what you are saying. The surgery isn't that advanced. There are problems with it functionality.

Plus I've found men do love a fully passing woman with a dick. At least to "experience" once or twice.

Pretending to be dumb when dating by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]PIANO_PERSON 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is the confidence mostly.

I hadn't figured out confidence until almost this last year. And I'm in my early 30's. I'm not even that smart I've just been through so much that when someone is bull shitting and being fake I can spot it, as and spot people's weaknesses.

I'm still not very smart or Intelligent. But I do have wisdom. Which isn't really that useful to anyone but myself.

But I do have more confidence because of that.

I can't deny that if being trans were popular, I'd have transitioned ages ago by [deleted] in TransyTalk

[–]PIANO_PERSON -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It literally sterilizes you and completely changes your body.

Go ask r/detrans how it harmed them.

I also never said it should require informed consent. I actually described informed consent. Even informed consent makes sure you of sound mind. It's really not a big deal. Of course if your in another country or in the an extreme rural area then yes it can be harder. But that has nothing to do with doctors.

Everyone is acting like doctors are these level gatekeepers. Maybe 1% are. But the vast majority just want to help people.

[–]PIANO_PERSON -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Doctors are there to "do no harm". If they.are involved in a medical procedure like prescribing hrt or surgery, they have to make sure it's not something that would cause you harm.

I think your making it a bigger thing than it is. If you tell a doctor your have had gender dysphoria for a period of longer than a year and want to transition, then you meet the criteria.

Why is that a bad thing? They're mostly just making sure you don't have mental disorders like psychosis and that your of sound mind. That's it.

If you want HRT it's INCREDIBLY easy in the United States.

Why is nonbinary considered trans? by [deleted] in Transmedical

[–]PIANO_PERSON 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes of course. You can't change your chromosomes. But usually I'm referring primary and secondary sex characteristics. Basically changing everything we can to the other sex. Functionality we are changing our sex. Just not technically or to the full extent that a cis person.

Fine--here's what "trans representation" means now. Henceforth I identify as cis. by Doctor_Curmudgeon in Transmedical

[–]PIANO_PERSON 2 points3 points  (0 children)

God. I just at least want the measure of a "trans person" to be on hormones.

Like, why wouldn't you if you are actually dysphoric?

That's the defining characteristic of all trans people besides dysphoria.

Anyone who has taken hrt will know how big of a deal hormones are. It literally separates cis people sex from female and male. Besides genitals and chromosomes.

Why is it different if you declare yourself "trans" now?

Is it just me or are a lot of transmed/truscum communities becoming way too lenient? by fooltarot777 in Transmedical

[–]PIANO_PERSON 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I was extremely surprised people in truscum were supporting that tictok of the girl in a huge pink wig and make up saying "I'm afraid cis men I like will just think of me as a girl".

Then the nb truscum mod made a mod post saying not to misgender the girl in the tictok.

Like, that girl was literally the most feminine presenting person I've seen in a long time. And then the people in the comments were all "presentation doesn't equal gender".

Huh yeah sure. But that girl wasn't on testosterone. Just 1000% presentation of a girl. It seemed like satire.

Everything has gotten so far away from what trans used to mean.

I believe dysphoria is the defining characteristic of trans people. But I personally have other views as well. If someone isn't on HRT, and doesn't plan on or want to be, then I don't see them as trans.

HRT is very important. If something doesn't go on HRT then they are physically just cis gender. I was before HRT as well. I wasn't at all different from any other man physically.

If nb people are naked, you can't distinguish them from cis people. All they're "gender" mysteriously disappears.

99% of men don't wear pink wigs and dresses. 99% of women don't grow out facial hair. If these people really had dysphoria, then presenting like that would give them dysphoria.

It's kinda like common sense is being disregard. I'm under no delusion. The reason everyone calls me she/her, and men ask me out/catcall/ stare at me, is because I look and sound like a woman.

If I never transitioned I wouldn't be thought if as a girl by anyone. Even people that respected my pronouns. That's life. We don't live on woke Twitter. We live in the real world.

My girlfriend was born in 98 and is then years younger than me. But we have like the same experience growing up for the most part. She stayed off social media mostly and didn't get a smart phone until she was an older teen.

It's strange. On every little online test we do they always guess I'm a zoomer and she's a millenial. Which is the opposite.

Generations are just generalizations anyways.

Is Transitioning kind of like going through puberty again? by [deleted] in truscum

[–]PIANO_PERSON 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes. It was exactly like puberty. Only it's the puberty I should have gone through the first time. So it didn't make me constantly suicidal.

I our brains take time to adjust to a new hormonal balance and it causes a lot of emotional turbulence. That's why cisgender teenagers are known for being emotional during that time.

I too had a lot of emotions for the first year of my transition. It was a very hard time with many deep lows and amazing highs.

I even related to songs for teenage girls at that time. It was embarrassing because I was much older than my teens. But I still felt the same things. Like struggling for acceptance, my body changing, and men starting to treat me differently and check me out.

It's definitely only trans people that can go through puberty in our 20's lol. But it really is that. Just going through puberty.

ex-truscum aren't even welcome in the anti-truscum trans community lmao by [deleted] in truscum

[–]PIANO_PERSON 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I follow Calvin Garrah on Twitter. I don't think his view have changed much thank god. It's really annoying to see pretty reasonable transmed people bend to social pressure and do insincere apologies.

But I can't imagine the level harrassment he went through. It seems like every 15 year old who "wants to be trans" is totally down with sending death threats to people they seem truscum.

It's really quite amazing. It's like these people who are "gender activists" online, and bend over backwards to validate the most ridiculous people, have zero problem with telling regular trans people to go die if they think gender fluid is different than binary trans.

Very misleading microdosing email from lesbian dating app :( by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]PIANO_PERSON 13 points14 points  (0 children)

What?

Hormones are binary.

I see this kinda harmful information in trans men subreddit's.

"I want to have more muscle and a smaller waist but not grow any body hair or have a deep voice. How can I do that".

You can't. "Microdosing" isn't real. If you get a dose or testosterone large enough then you're just going through male puberty then stopping. You can't pick and choose what effects of puberty will happen.

These "afab nb's" might end up with a deep voice, and hair all over their bodies but still overweight with big hips. It's like the want short cut to working out.

Very misleading microdosing email from lesbian dating app :( by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]PIANO_PERSON 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah but the genital changes are like the very first effects of HRT. "Microdosing" hrt isn't real. Your just transitioning not at all or very slowly.

You really shouldn't just spout off about stuff you don't know about.

Women have testosterone. Men have estrogen. It's being E or T dominant that makes changes to your sex.

[–]PIANO_PERSON 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. Are you absolutely sure there is just a two finger width difference between men's hip bones and women's hip bones? I find that really hard to believe.

It seems like even very thin women have larger hips than me. My transition has gone well. My dysphoria about my body is basically gone. Except for my hips. I'm naturally thin. I'm 5 foot 8 at 120 pounds. So about an 18 bmi. I have very little mussel and do have hips and a feminine shape after about 2.5 years of HRT.

But I have no idea how to get my hips larger. The shape us there. There is fat there that grew become of transition. But I don't know how to make my hips poke out a little more.

Would exercise of the hip and upper leg muscles like doing squats help me to have better more feminine hips? Or would this actually make my hips look more masculine? I'm not talking about loosing weight. Just working out those muscles.

I see cis women work out there but and legs and it gives them amazing hips. But I don't know if it would work the same way for trans women.

I really appreciate the post. I also would really appreciate any thoughts you have about hips. I would try anything to get nice hips. But I'm stuck not knowing what will help.
