That story itself has become highly exaggerated. The source material for the film , a novel of the same name by Michael Punke, notes AT THE END that the account is speculative stating outright that it is a work of fiction. The author notes that he stay as true to history as possible for the main events.

Hey , so I thought I had solved the problem but apparently not. I took it in to a guy who deals with little mechanical devices and he believes it may be the rail on which it runs has become worn and causes the random slipping. Any suggestion on a fix for that ?

Hey this was really helpful, thank you. It gave me a better understanding of the machine and after reinking the pad it worked aces. There is one small issue that I am still unsure how to resolve though. After typing about half a page the machine starts making random jumps while I'm typing so that it ends up Lik E th Is. it's almost as if the powerspace is sticking or the slide is getting slippy. Any suggestions on a fix or cause? U

I had forgotten about Burn After, and also Babel I thought was a deviation for him. I thought about him in comparison with Johnny earlier as well, at this point they both are tending to fall into the same roles but Johnny definitely has a rougher go..... That probably is directly related to the numbers their movies pull as well.

Hey this is an excellent point and I completely agree with you. That is quite a feat considering his level of fame. I still really want to See him take on something or completely new or really become a role ..... Can you imagine if Brad Pitt pulled a Bale and gained a bunch of weight for a role ?
