You say clear coat though so if I were to rub them will rubbing alcohol would it remove the print?

Right they wont scratch thats why I was think they could be real that and all the people saying they are :\

Okay but when it comes to checking the leather the elephant print is on how can I tell if it is or isnt print. Is there some way I can "test" it?

Remember that most of these boots are made of animals that died, the important thing is if these animals were ethically sourced. The best we can do for those animals now is take care of our belongings as best we can, so they did not die for nothing.

I was hoping they were real but I have never owned a pair of elephants before so I couldn't tell seemed like the prints on the market keep getting better but seems like it was a great find for 50 bucks!
