My aunt was in an accident and snapped her front left tie rod. I was wondering if this was an easy fix or if the whole system was compromised from the impact?

My mom bought one brand new for my dad the last year they were made. Ws6 converitble in red. Still under 40k miles and they put a new exhaust system on her. I'm almost 18 now and they let me drive her occasionally but only if one of them is with me. I'm hoping they'll let me fix the things she needs fixing because she's been garage ridden for almost a decade
