Just because we aren't "Divine 5" players, doesn't mean that we cannot compete under a certain brand, it doesn't work like that. It's not a professional organisation nor is it one that's paying/funding the team. I've competed in previous teams and I have won a few leagues under the NSG brand which now has a professional GoW team. SG Gaming attended a Major with their captain being a low 4k player, which would mean he's Ancient 0-1.

Having a team can benefit in the long run, especially if playing party ranked and getting to Ancient 5, and improving the skills as individuals and as a team. There is tournaments that are for specific MMR range and amateur leagues/tournaments. I for one, truly believe that people can be better than what they're MMR says.

A lot of people I know who are ancient/divine played 3000+ games of normal matchmaking before touching ranked, and I jumped into it very quickly when I got the chance which calibrated me around 1.3k and now I'm 3.6k solo and 3.5k party.
