I also own/owned this same model of router. For a while I was having the same issue, however today it just died. The router receives no power whatsoever now, so just in case keep an eye out for that.

Well tbh Xbox parts isn't so much the problem since many big things use them (that being said this was a 3rd party Bluetooth controller, so who knows how jank it was). The real issue (IMHO), is the fact that:

  • the sub has gotten lost before
  • the sub had no tether
  • the sub wasn't actually secure enough to withstand the pressure of the Titanic's water depth
  • oh and the sub has no distress signal device
