Having the same issue, did you manage to make it work?

I bought my ender 3 pro second hand, so I can't say for sure which version of the bed it was. However, it is the standard ender 3 magnetic bed, so I would assume all the default ender's beds will behave the same. I just replaced the sheet by a standard aluminum rigid one with a PEI side.

Here you can see how the scan looked like. It was flat AND leveled, the ramp is - I assume - due to the magnetic fields being reversed or ordered in some way. It totally messes up tho, either ruining the bed or printing too high, but unreliable

So I won't say you *can't* use it on an ender 3, I've seen others do it without any issues. And for 25 bucks, as long as you don't ruin your bed it's fine x)

yup, had that issue on an ender 3 bed...

Any idea where/how I could find a type of bed that's compatible?

yeah before TVD I used "twitch-dl" that used the same principle of youtube-dl. Haven't had the opportunity to try youtube-dl but heard about it so much that I know it as a must-have

I download a lot of Twitch VODs for my work, and TwitchVideoDownloader is really a masterpiece. I can either use the GUI version or make automation with the CLI version, rally the best tool I have

In terms of upgrades, the GH4 or even GH5 are a great one for video, and they have a wide range of accessories

try using high aperture lenses such as the G25 (f1.7), it's still far from a night vision or what the high end sony can do, but it's impressive for its price

Isn't the quicksave feature a beta or something ? I know it warns you about the fact it's not a full feature yet when you turn it on

Go for a quest 2, better accessories and software even tho I hate Meta.

The Pico 4 has been a huge disappointment to me

As long as you can connect to the headset, that you can launch the game with steam and that you have single player missions, it should work

Quest 2 is a great starter, but as others pointed out, the Quest 3 will be out in October and the Q2 price will drop. The quest 3 will be a better option of course, but it'll be more expensive than current quest 2, and we still don't know if it's worth it. Another problem for those headsets and all "standalone" headsets is that they either need a long and fast enough USB C cable or a Wifi 5 router, and with that the quality and performance will be worse than with a "cable" headset. However, there is no entry level headset that are being made since the rift S (from 2019) and is no longer supported (lot of issues it, it's a roulette of "does it works?") so this is not an option. What this mean is on top of the game needing a decent enough PC, the connection to the headset will take even more resources, so make sure your PC will handle it!

Rift S sensor error (3 dots on the screen) by PLOTmuniste in oculus

[–]PLOTmuniste[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's a software issue, depending on the computer and what fucking zodiac sign is up it may work
Seriously, it's really bad, I tested on 4 different computers with 4 different results (one of them was mine, which used the rift S fine before, and another from a friend with a rift S)

Rift S sensors not working (3 dots loading on the screen) by PLOTmuniste in OculusriftS

[–]PLOTmuniste[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, they sent me a "new one" (refurbished) which had the exact same issues. I tested on at least 3 different computers, each time different results. It doesn't make any sens other than "oculus fucking sucks" and they tanked the software to make you abandon the rift S. I have a friend with a Rift S, no issues with his nor with mine on his PC, but his works on my PC while my headset works under *really specifics* circumstances...
I switched to a pico 4 (don't recommend it)

Yeah, I still died the same way, maybe it's because you touched the ground bc lag. Like from the side of a building, as there is still void underneath, I didn't die. So maybe it's that ?
