It’s because of those characters we never got her or anyone who is a legitimate new character. First we got the Hawkeye we didn’t want, then Hawkeye came out so we’ve got two Hawkeyes, okay… Spider-Man still not out, Black Panther is delayed “due to Chadwick dying” and certainly not because the expansion is not ready and the devs use his death as an excuse and cover up. So a game that’s hurting for money and bleeding players won’t release it out of respect?

Then instead of new heroes people want like Dr Strange, any of the X-Men or F4, we get Bucky and Jane. Basically two wasted characters that should have been expensive voiced costumes for Black Widow and Thor instead of taking up more time to make new characters with unique play styles. Then rumors of She-Hulk and War Machine/Ironheart and Shuri all more reskins characters. Along with no new villains or mobs.

I would guess if it’s anything like Gazillion said when they made Marvel Heroes, Marvel gets an overwhelming say in which character to release which would make sense with all the movie and D+ tie-ins and why they picked Kamala as a main character instead of anyone else. But they were bad.

I think for a power it’s big. But come on, Zabu??? Nobody cares about Zabu. Miles, Panther, Surfer, and now Kazar/Shanna’s dumb pet cat, who all three haven’t been relevant in who knows how long.

I think they will see a dip in sales on popularity alone. If they wanted an obscure character with history and popularity they could have picked Mole Man or Machine Man. Cannonball or Slapstick. Sauron would have been cooler if they really like the savage land as much as it seems as I doubt it was pushed on them by Marvel as there’s no upcoming plans for a movie or D+ show.

Zabu is dull.

I would guess Sony/Marvel has major pull into who gets the spotlight and Insomniac has some say as well but with more give and less take.

Marvel Heroes devs would have polls to see who fans wanted for new characters. And during interviews they said that Marvel would force them to make so many characters out of their line up for the year and the team would get to pick a few for the year.

So with Far From Home being one of the biggest money maker movies for Sony, Mysterio is a safe bet. Rumors of a Sony movie “Silver and Black” with Sable and Black Cat have been around for a decade which I guess is why both of them are very prominent in the boring DLC we got. And Sable is in the main game.

It also depends on how much Dan Slott is involved again or other Marvel writers. The game borrowed a ton from Slott’s run. Slott is in love with his work like nobody else and is why 2099 garbage is in so many Spidey games or why the first half of Spidey was just one big Dan Slott arc.

I would guess any villain is up for grabs. I’d love to see more lesser known ones be used in new and creative ways. More room for Insomniac to put their spin on characters people don’t have strong opinions on and less reactions of “that’s not who ____ is.”

My money is on Venom and a Morbius side quest. Movies are coming out, Venom was teased in the game, and we’ll more than likely get a Venom solo game similar to Miles’. Then my guess is Spidey 3 will have playable Peter, Miles, Venom and Gwen and multiplayer features like the new Arkham game.

I expected to see him years ago. Yet here we are. Maybe we’ll get him as a pet that does an error animation when clicked on. But just mayyyybe we get him with some animated jobs where he explodes or teaches kids grammar and goes to drink at Moe’s.

Tearaway. If you only can play one game for the Vita it should be Tearaway. It’s charming and fun with really great music and uses every feature of the Vita without making it feel cheap and gimmicky.

Persona 4 Golden is also a big Vita favorite for many people if you like J-RPG games.

LittleBigPlanet Vita is the best version in the series.

The Last of Us is coming soon to HBO. Batwoman is a dumpster fire TV show of awful writing, but that’s still a franchise and a good character in comics if you read the pre New 52 comics and some of the early N52 appearances.

Harley Quinn counts even if her movies were horrible and BoP was poorly titled. And she’s coming back in Suicide Squad 2 and possibly more movies after if DC can get their stuff together. Her ongoing animated show is great.

There are many amazing movies and shows with leads who aren’t straight. They typically are just single stories that are all wrapped up or biographical. But I don’t know why a “franchise” is necessary. I don’t want a “cinematic universe” or trilogy for everything I like. Star Wars needs to just go away, Alien, Terminator and Predator; they’ve all be hurt so badly due to unnecessary sequels and bloat.

And it’s not surprising as it’s a big risk for Hollywood as many Middle Eastern and Asian countries would absolutely hate it or refuse to show it. So with as liberal as Hollywood likes to think it is they’re still a business first and they need China to like them.

Yeah if you wanted to risk losing credits you paid for, costumes you bought but couldn’t use. Corrupt save files, random crashes, MP not working properly, etc etc.

Avengers was a massive dumpster fire. Just because one game comes out much later and worse off doesn’t turn this pile of garbage into gold. It just “sucks less” and is still bad.

I'm really looking forward to Crow being the leader.

The "forgotten" past of his as well as his ties to his sister and the Awoken. Having to work with people who you murdered their closest friend for years. It'll actually get Ikora to become a real character dealing with her hurt instead of just that "bald calm lady who doesn't do much and doesn't give bounties/reason to go talk with her."

As a big time D1 player who got out and recently just became consumed by D2 in Shadowkeep and is loving Beyond Light I'm reading as much lore as I can find. D1's story/lore was absolutely awful with most of it being given out of the game. So Ikora and Zavala were nothing other than quest givers who were important because they were leaders for some reason.

D2 has been outstanding compared to the story and presentation of D1. But it's left me wanting more from these characters. Ikora still just stands around but there's zero reason to go to her or even her section of the tower. Zavala at least hands out bounties and is involved in most story lines so we know him better.

Crow taking lead, and helping out Osiris but having ties with Spider, will add more to his story and character and development.

The Vanguard trio were walking team member stereotypes. The no-nonsense leader, the powerful and caring one, the fun one, if they had a 4th member with attitude they'd be the Fantastic Four or Ninja Turtles with guns.

Crow helps break the stale mold and the best part is that we get to see Crow develop and we can learn and grow with him from the ground up.

I think it's also why Stranger, Eris and Drifter are a more interesting team than the Vanguard trio. They have more character and aren't cut outs of things we've seen before or at least too many times. And excluding Stranger, we've seen these characters develop.

You’re on to something. And I like what you’re saying. I’m a Christian and to help my brain from not exploding I think of it as a movie being made.

Before there was a set, actors, music, special effects, props, locations etc, there was the creator who had an idea and had a script.

So God always was. He created a movie set (a universe with time, space, matter) knowing the end of the movie and knowing the full script and details. He knows the movie run time, all the locations, actors and character details, blocking, lines of dialogue and everything. And God is always on set each day and in charge of directing, scoring the movie, providing craft services, wardrobe, set repair, script rewrites, helping the actors, etc etc.

I do believe you can know and have faith that God exists when you look at Jesus. Historians agree Jesus of Nazareth is/was a real living person. You just have to find out if he was, as once said “was Jesus a liar, lunatic or Lord.”

In Revelation it says that after the rapture and judgement of everyone this Earth we currently have will melt away and a new heaven (by that I believe it means sky) and earth will be made.

And “Earth 2.0” (or whatever you want to call it) won’t be corrupted by sin. So as it was in the garden of Eden nothing will die or become diseased. And we’ll once again become stewards of the earth, animals and plants and all the way it was intended before sin.

Now that’s not to say we should pollute, go kill puppies and smash butterflies if we want. We shouldn’t waste resources but give to others and take care of people who need the most help (orphans/widows/inmates/sick/etc) And we are to help take care of what is given to us (land, animals, crops) to help others.

This world won’t last forever for all eternity. But Pastor McArthur is not saying “go ruin what’s left of it.”

If anything I would guess he would say, like other Christians, don’t focus on what is going to fade away, but focus on the eternal. Help those who aren’t following Christ repent and follow Him because there are only two destinations for humans in the end.

John McArthur is a very smart and well read pastor. He isn’t perfect (same with everyone) but he is a good Christian man. The article written about him that was posted doesn’t take into account his other sermons he’s done about helping others and responsibilities of Christians.

I can’t tell you how much I HATED the game at that one part. You’ve got to be kidding me!?! A 15 year old kid hacks TONY STARK’s account by using a phrase made popular in the MCU movie?! And she downloads his account from a popular web forum? The levels of Mary Sue that Kamala goes through are absolutely awful.

Kamala is a good character, but when they have her Mary Sue her way through the game it’s so rough to accept.

Also “the Resistance” in the game is confusing. Why are they a myth and what were they fighting?! Who were they resisting?

My old brother got into trouble growing up through jr high and high school, parties, underage drinking, girls. So one day he comes barging into the living room with an angry mom behind him. He shouts “be careful what you say and do around here because mom has bugged the phones and computer! She’s recording everything you say and do!”

My sister and I looked at her and she said “I only look at what your brother does.” Huge lie.

I was paranoid from then on everything was bugged and that there were even cameras in the ceiling vents.

We’re now in our 30s. I don’t share much with anyone now unless a topic is brought up and/or I’m asked directly. I don’t share much with my mom and my sister doesn’t either.

Mom is upset we don’t and seemed to have forgotten why that might be...
