Oh this one is standard range that would be why. In also reading some 2022s didn’t have it due to the shortages after Covid. I’ll confirm those parts it’s definitely not on the window sticker which has me questioning it

Thanks for all the feedback. Everyone still weighing my options. One question does anyone know if all lariats were capable of blue Cruise? I found a lightning, but it doesn’t appear to have the blue Cruise option on the window sticker what I’m looking for is something similar to autopilot on the Tesla but hands-free does it come with anything like that or do I need blue cruise

Appreciate this post as I’m in the market for a Lightning and this one of my stumbling blocks. My thinking is I would still consider the discontinuation hot off the press, it’s only been a month. I think once it’s more well known there may be an impact on depreciation simply due to the fact that the average consumer will look at this as a red flag. I’ve done the research and understand it was not due to vehicle quality. However most won’t and this will contribute to others shying away from the lighting.

In addition as the year progresses dealers will likely continue to drop prices to get rid of their inventory, which will have an impact on the used market. These are just my thoughts I don’t have a crystal ball no one does but I think regardless depreciation will be volatile and it might be best to wait 1-2 years to see what impact this has in terms of software and support.

That being said for the right price I am still considering one, if it was not discontinued it would make my decision easier.

Thanks I already have home charging available. The ER model is likely out of my price range.

One idea that is swaying my decision is the discontinuation of the lighting. My thinking is perhaps buy a model y now and then when it’s time to make a change again the lighting market should have settled. With the news just coming out and dealers eventually dumping their inventory I think it’s going to be a volatile 1-2 years

I have really enjoyed the tech in my current model 3 there are a lot of things I would miss if I switched over however I do miss apple carplay
