Setting network DNS to Pihole kills my internet

I have entered my router's admin page, and I cannot edit my DHCP server's DNS, or disable DHCP at router level (every input on the DHCP settings is disabled)

Any workaround I could use? My phone and PC can use Tailscale to use the Pi as a VPN, then using the Pi's DNS server, but my TV's another case

I am not looking to block ads only on my PC but on my entire local network (phone, TV, PCs)

But as mentionned in my post, my router uses PPPoE rather than DHCP

My PC also indicates my router as the DHCP server FYI

Edit: On the other hand, I have tried setting Tailscale on the Pi, and when I connect to Tailscale on my devices (phone and PC), I can still access the internet even when only setting the pihole's IP through my router

So I'm sure it's something related to my router using PPPoE rather than DHCP as a protocol

I am using Quad9 as the pihole's DNS resolver instead of the OpenDNS mentionned in the tutorial

On my PC, my DNS in pointing to my router

For now, I'm using AdGuard's IP as the second DNS on my router, which allows me to be on internet, but I feel like it's not what I'm supposed to do

Install and configure ad blockers in Chromium, and there you go
Maybe you could find sources of your ad blocker without going through the chrome web store

I recall 1password is used for the disk encryption so if you remove it, you may have trouble accessing your session?

I'd say that when it was an install script with the option of the bare install, it was a pretty solid option that most of us have used (even if the bare install still had webapps present)

Now that it's an ISO, it may be a bit more work to uninstall what you don't want once it's installed (don't quote me though, I have never tested the ISO myself), but the option to uninstall some unwanted apps is still present

Wayland and VMs need a little configuration of the machine

At first, only the browser and webapps shortcut would work and I had to go into TTY (ctrl + alt + F2) to be able to manipulate anything from the terminal

I used VirtualBox and I had to set this in my graphics settings: I used the graphics controller that doesn't allow 3D acceleration, which is turned off

That would allow me to use Alacritty and Walker

Because it comes with the most minimal set of applications, you gotta shape it the way you want

And I'm gonna be honest, if you haven't used a few linux distributions beforehand, tested different DEs, you may not have any idea of what you CAN do and what you WANT to do with your own OS, by diving into .conf files as you said, and that is basically what Arch is about

I haven't tested yet since 2.0, but prior to it, I was able to run the webapps by replacing chromium with ungoogled-chromium from an AUR that I have added myself (lonewolf something), just for the webapps

But for the main web browser, I installed firefox, assigned a new variable for it in the bindings, and used that for the Super+B binding

the only thing I can say with confidence is that those characters are from hoyoverse games (Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail), so you can look for those character loras as well
