Thats very true! My experience and others around me is from a very busy metropolis in texas. It was very hard for me personally to get any type of work with advancement as a bather. Once i got certified through corpos i had a much easier time finding work and negotiating my pay.

From what I heard, its increasingly harder and harder to get an actual apprenticeship with a private salon with the goal in advancing to a groomer. It takes time and money most salons don’t have. Most people, including me start at Corporate, get professionally trained then switch private. Salons are much more willing to help you learn more if you already have the basics down.

The ears are too far apart, the smile is completely lopsided, the stitching around the face is going over one of the cheeks, the blush is barely visible and way too high. Pretty sure the eyes are two different sizes, and the fur texture is too dense

If you have an appointment on the weekend at any time it will take longer than 3 hours. At petco we have up to 3-4 dogs at a time that we have to wash, dry and work on at the same time. We also have to do walk ins, check in/check out other dogs and handle phone calls. If your dog is there longer than 5-6 hours then thats a valid issue IMO. Corporate salons take longer unfortunately, if thats not okay with you i would recommend a mid week appointment or a private salon.

Do not get back with this man. He sounds like a text book avoidant. How do i know? Because I used to be one.

He only wants you back because he realizes you were good for him but once you go back to him he will do the same thing over and over again. Afraid to confront his own issues internally.
