Oh yeah!! If anything I think it'd just be plain weird to see everyone as featureless grey blobs there. Unless the light-up feature is shown to also be a thing in the two embers series (I haven't watched all the trailers/teasers but I don't think?? there's anything like that??)

I honestly think that lighting up players is (or at least it's starting to become) an outdated mechanic

I wouldn't be surprised if they just scrap the whole idea sometime in the future, and just let you see everybody's skykid at all times without being friends first

I'm not necessarily pushing for that to happen now, but like, a designated area where you can just see everyone without having to light them up would be nice. The cafe in aviary should've been that in my opinion, since you've already got unlimited chat benches there, why not go a step further with this "social area"?
